As fic writer I can 100% vouch for this. I treasure every comment deep in my soul. Even the one word/emoji/string of capslock letters ones.

Also, dreamwidth captcha, is "face" really, strictly speaking, a "body part"?

Whenever I leave a comment on fic I screw it up. The authors respond like I'm insulting their stories and I'm not. I don't even offer con crit but it still comes out wrong, and I hurt people's feelings or confuse them. I don't want that to keep happening so I don't comment. I can't screw up a kudos.
