Holy reading comprehension Batman. It was pretty obvious that this was about stuff like surprise mpreg, xeno, tentacles, a/b/o, scat etc. - so things that are definitely a huge matter of taste and preference and just throwing them in there without checking with the prompter just sucks. If you want to write some cutesy buttbabies so badly even though it's not asked for in the prompt, do your own prompt and self-fill and don't derail a perfectly good prompt. (This is an example, obviously.)
It's very obviously not about vanilla sex acts. And no, just throwing in weird kinks that are not specified in the prompt, THAT is bad ettiquette.
It really isn't obvious what 'weird' is since specific examples weren't used.
One anon above stated "In both instances they were kinks that are on the lower end of the weirdness scale but still not exactly standard, and neither anon checked with me first - they weren't elements I object to in principle, I just didn't want them for these particular prompts."
'Lowe end of the weirdness scale' could mean literally anything. People are squicked by any number of things or don't like certain acts (also see the rimming debate above). If you don't like something put that in the prompt, otherwise the specific details that turn general/vague prompts into stories are up the author.
I've had fills posted to my prompts that I haven't liked in the past. I never once felt entitled to ask them to change it or tell them that they did something wrong. This is an anon prompt generator, once you've posted a prompt your say in it ends unless the author specifically asks for your input.
Anon you were talking about here, just wanted to remind you that my post started with me saying I needed to be more specific - I get coy about this stuff sometimes and I've realised that essentially, if I don't want pegging I've got to say I don't want pegging.
