Eh, I don't mind people posting un-anon, and I'd rather the meme continue allowing people that option. Scrolling past an icon is no more different to me than scrolling past a pairing I'm not into.

I completely agree with this. If you're going to post your fill to Tumblr or your AO3 or whatever, you're going to de-anon anyway, so I don't see the point in insisting on anonymity for fills.
However, I like the idea of prompting being anonymous, because it prevents possible favouritism (like more well-known/popular fans getting their prompts filled) and discourages wank, which tends to happen when people put a name to a certain style of prompting.

Yup, totally agree. The option of unanon fills seems fair, especially since a lot of people who are for being totally anon are suggesting users add a link to the fill elsewhere if they want to claim it. They may as well cut that step and claim it straight away by posting unanon, if they choose.

I have to say though, certain styles are still very apparent even while anon. It's the style that's annoying, not the user. It could be 100 different people with the same style--I still hate that one style.
I've only been on anon only memes, so maybe that's why I find it so strange to see logged in users.

I actually started it first because I didn't realize there was one before it, and it is just...it is mindblowingly good. It is one of the very best fics in the entire fandom, if not one of the best I've ever read anywhere. And the chapters are long as FUCK and ugh, it's just so great.

We probably don't. But considering some of the wank here seems to involve the same people invested in commenting over and over, I imagine there'd be people invested in *voting* over and over as well. Which is fair enough - part of being anon in a meme is not being able to track that kind of thing.
I've been on kinkmemes for the better part of the last decade (sheesh!), but the best one I have ever been a part of will always and forever be the 2010 Winter Olympics Kinkmeme (http://wintergameskink.livejournal.com/). People tired to revive it in 2014, but the magic was lost.
I figured it might be people voting more than once.
I like reading fanfiction about him because I don't really find him appealing as he is in the movie-- I find it extra entertaining, then, when a fic makes me care about him/find him attractive by adding additional layers of detail. That's probably weird, but I've stopped questioning my taste in fic. Also, I'm all about Kylo/Hux because I'll take any excuse for Domhnall Gleeson porn, even space Nazi Domhnall Gleeson.
Conceptually, I like their choices with Kylo Ren as the villain, because I like the idea of the antagonist being scary because of their unpredictability, unreasonableness, and sense of whiny entitlement, rather than their great vision of evil power or whatever.
