And my ultimate pairing: Phasma/Rey

I bookmark (in Chrome) all the prompts I'm following and I have a sub-folder for those that get filled so I can go back and read them whenever I like. If they end up on AO3, I bookmark them there.

I try to write, I'm definitely interested in getting all these ideas out of my head, but it's mostly just half-formed snippets that I'd be embarrassed to share with anyone. I love the world so much that I don't want it to end with the canon we're given. I like filling in the blanks, even if they never become completed fics.

So imagine this, I have in my notes a prompt that says 'Finn/Poe, face fucking&cum on face.' That's it. I've written a fill based on it, but for the life of me I cannot find where the prompt is. I feel like post 2? Can anyone point me in the direction of a prompt along those lines?

but there's a difference between knowing that what you did was wrong and actually feeling any particular remorse from the act itself. like, i feel bad about little dumb things like not doing the dishes or squabbling over where to eat in my current relationship, but i actually don't feel all that bad for cheating on my last girlfriend, because she never knew and nothing ever came of it.

Rey/Luke, because I'm a problematic human who's big into student/teacher and age gap relationship.

I also like the fact that Rey is so powerful with the Force, that once she masters her powers, she could probably be on Luke's level, if not more powerful than him. She's also young and emotion-driven, while Luke spent a lot of time thinking and not acting on his planet. He could reign her in while she gives him the will to start making decisions again?

Does Rey/Poe (without Finn) count as a rarepair because that is my terrible trash ship. I mean, I like Rey/Finn/Poe and all the other possible subsets too but Rey/Poe is less common and way more problematic and speaks to my fucked up teenage heart. I was de-virginized by a 30 year old when I was 18 IRL and my only regret is that he was much, much less awesome and hot than Poe Dameron. And that I didn't know back then that one of my callings in life is to fuck men up. So Rey learning things from Poe (or not if she's already experienced, who knows) and then learning she likes topping the fuck out of him is what I'm going to the special hell for.

I write to yell at the world how much I love the movie, the characters and the relationships I want to see being played out.

I'm a sheltered individual and fiction writing is how I squee.

I also like the idea of making the characters mine, fleshing them out in my head, while trying to balance it out with canon material. I read some wonderful fics where the events had no basis in canon, but the characters were so in-character, so close to my own vision that it felt as if it was canon material. This is the beauty of fanfiction that I'm trying to reach.

I'm sure it is for some people, but yeah, poor choice of words, I was talking about my own opinion and used words that implied that I spoke for everyone else.

As a writer, at this point I bore myself with sex scenes if there's not at least a touch of kink. I feel you. And I'd love to see more fic that takes them from the beginning of a relationship to getting kinky.

I like this and will adopt it. I can see Phasma using it sarcastically and Finn not quite picking up on that.

Also I read that one Rey/Darth Maul fic and was waaay more into it than I expected? And I'd not say no to that becoming a Thing in fandom.

The whole "Star Wars" universe has to have a cool name for EVERYTHING, even, like...plastic. But then you have "yah that's just...exactly what it is on Earth" for random things you wouldn't really expect to be in that category, like...chocolate. You have a weird name for plastic in space, but not for chocolate? You actually have chocolate in space? Okay.

I agree. It bugs me because it's logically inconsistent. If English (or whatever language the viewer is watching in) is meant to represent Galactic Basic, then there is no need to use different names for objects that are exactly the same on Earth, because those terms should be "translated" into English anyway.

I'm honestly up for Han having slightly sleazy sex with everyone and everything. Possibly including Chewbacca.
