I write to yell at the world how much I love the movie, the characters and the relationships I want to see being played out.
I'm a sheltered individual and fiction writing is how I squee.
I also like the idea of making the characters mine, fleshing them out in my head, while trying to balance it out with canon material. I read some wonderful fics where the events had no basis in canon, but the characters were so in-character, so close to my own vision that it felt as if it was canon material. This is the beauty of fanfiction that I'm trying to reach.
