No, not the films, the comics. Where if you want to follow the plots of future comics that might be good, you have to suffer through the shitty 'Events' comics to get there.
That thread is making me feel kind of slimy and gross, now you mention it.
I think it's more there's only two of them. I don't know what time zones they are in, but they have actual lives as well and can't be checking the meme every minute, and wank keeps happening and that makes this place not fun for the mods as well as anyone else.
My friend, you really don't. I dip in and out of Deadpool's and Cable's storylines constantly, without reading the things in between that I'm not interested in. You just find a synopsis or wiki and then you're good to go. Free yourself of the tyranny of the metaphorical and/or literal armed men forcing you to buy the comics at gun point.
Personally, my issue is that so many prompts are better suited for long fics. Sometimes I just want to write a fill under 1,000 words, but most of the prompts are asking for plot or details that don't work for mini-fills.
As a filler, I find it discouraging when a rare-pair fill doesn't get much attention. Now that's shouting into the void. I mean, it's niche, I get that, but it can be disheartening.
Yeah, but Deadpool and Cable are Deadpool and Cable. They're like Lobo or Ambush Bug. No one gives a crap about their continuity or plotlines.
Believe me, as a rare pair filler, I feel you.
Cable's plotlines are actually based quite heavily on knowing chronology, but I see you're determined to just keep voluntarily spending money and then complaining about it because that's fun for you.
That would explain all the incest prompts.

Considering misfire prompts are more likely to get fills and misfire fills are more likely to get comments, I don't blame people for losing interest.
I think that's more that all the simple prompts are repetitive now.
the random chance of a genuine misfire is one of the few ways originality can be revived in the meme.
I lost all interest in misfires when A MEME WITHIN THE MEME was made for them.
I lost all interest as soon as people started capslock demanding that misfire fills be written or saying "this misfire fill will be so great" before one was even written.
Even the plotty prompts are getting repetitive. I think I've read the same alpha/omega plot like five different times now.
Well there really is only one alpha/omega plot line, so that's not difficult.
A/B/O doesn't count as plot.
