I just want something with Kylo getting sick or whatever and temporarily losing his voice. Except for whatever reason he won't/isn't allowed to communicate mentally via the force. Cue Hux being suspicious. I mean not that Kylo necessarily talks nonstop normally but his sudden absolute silence is concerning...

Mainly want some sort of confrontation between Hux and him about his sudden silence? Maybe it gets in the way of work, maybe its just annoying/worrying. Can lead to comforting fluffy stuff if you want, and if you wanna do Kylux preferably they are not already in a relationship or if they are its a relatively new one.

Mitaka sure looks like he needs a hell of a lot of alcohol to deal with his shitty life.

Hux has a secret.

He's the last unicorn.

Hux inherited it from his mother - who was a unicorn who took human form after falling in love with Brendol Hux the First (there's no accounting for taste. Or for True Love). After she died (some say it was a broken heart. Other cite the more prosaic 'she slipped on a wet floor when she was dancing and fell fifty feet off a balcony onto stone tiles') Hux became the Last Unicorn (TM). He bears some superficial resemblance to his father, but other then that, he's pure Unicorn.

Suggestions:

+ Hux is instinctively aware of/drawn to virgins. Kylo Ren is the most virginy-virgin there EVER WAS. (Hux wants to bang his head against something. Very hard.)
++ Cue Hux trying to set up an increasingly bewildered Kylo Ren on a series of dates - which the would-be Sith unknowingly sabatouges EACH TIME.
+++ Upon learning that Kylo is, technically, a prince, Hux's immediate reaction is NO. JUST NO. He knows the trophes about Unicorns and princesses better then anyone...
++++++++ Hux transforms into his 'true' unicorn shape very, very rarely. Mainly because he has - urges in that form. Namely, the urge to gambol daintily through fields of flowers and dance in the moonlight, and it's UGH.

Is this intended to be a crossover/blend with Peter S. Beagle's Last Unicorn, or just 'Hux is a unicorn and there's no other unicorns'? I want to clarify because it seems to be the second and unrelated to the novel, but the (TM) seems to be implying it's the first.

From the prompt details it's definitely not the first interpretation. The (TM) is just confusing.

Oh, gosh, sphinx moth Finn is such a perfect idea! He and Rey being in the same order, potentially the only moths either have ever met-- perfect. He probably wouldn't even know himself to be anything other than an odd bee until someone else pointed it out. All his life in the order knowing he was different and unable to bridge that gap with the other hive morphs, no matter how well he mimicked their behavior or how well he did in the sims or if he kept his head down and followed orders to the letter. They just picked up on it, and bees are so insular that it marked him as an outsider right away. I was torn on the original prompt because Finn being a rogue bee was just inherently sad and a little funny, and then i got stuck on the idea of beetle!Finn to parallel atlas beetle!Phasma. Plus it would work for saving his spine from Kylo's lightsaber. But then where do you put the carapace under the armor...

Ah, gosh though, this neatly ties it together.

Canon universe, characters in Last Unicorn roles, no actual unicorns required.

Snoke has captured all the Jedi and imprisoned them to try to use them in some way. Kylo is a Jedi who was pretending to be on the Dark Side to infiltrate the first order get to the captured Jedi to free them, but has forgotten who he really is. Hux is poetry-writing level in love with Kylo and will do anything for him, even help him remember he's actually a Jedi and free all the captured Jedi, if only Kylo will ask him. etc.

Finn and Poe are that old married couple who are so disgustingly perfect for each other even their bickering is adorable.

The only weird things about it are:

1. They're not dating (according to either of them)
2. They've known each other for approximately a month, half of which Finn was unconscious for in the wake of Starkiller.

AYRT: I thought of beetle!Finn, too (like tiger beetles), but then decided to google bugs that look like bees, and boom! Sphinx moth! Often mistaken for bumblebees, or even hummingbirds! He and Rey could bond when he tries to teach her to hover~!

Give me the jackbooted ginger-mane unicorn pronking merrily around Actual Disney Prince(ss) Darth Tantrum! It is needed!

A legal/non darkside Ben and Luke are both harboring feelings for each other. Luke knows it's wrong, but for once in his life he wants to be selfish. I just want Luke and Ben in a romantic and sexual relationship running away from the rest of the galaxy and settling down together.

+bonus points if the Force somehow approves/keeps Han and Leia from finding them

Rey discovers the full extent of her power. It's enough to shape the galaxy to her desires.

What does she do with it?

I fucking love the exhausted dirty talk and sleepy barbs. "Their long legs braiding together in some impossible tangle" is my aesthetic.

You guys this is not the prompt but do you know how much I die at the idea of someone making a live action Last Unicorn and casting Adam Driver as Schmendrick. I don't know who would be right for Molly and they'd need a total luminous unknown like Daisy for Amalthea, but Adam's combination of raw power and absolute awkwardness as Schmendrick CAN U EVEN IMAGINE

Also the last act of the movie kind of maps really well to the book? Han and Chewis are Schmendrick and Molly Grue, Finn is Lir, Rey is Amalthea, Snoke is Haggard, and Kylo Ren is the Bull. Sorry Kylux friends but Hux is 110% Drinn, the mayor of Hagsgate.

How did FN-2187 and Poe manage to escape The Finalizer so easily? It's not like the FO has a shortage of Stormtroopers.

Hux intended to let them escape. Whether he's lowkey assisting with the Resistance, simply has it out for Kylo (um... who doesn't?), or has other reasons he saw that Kylo had no guards stationed outside the interogation room. Why not work with it?

Ensuring the straightest route to the hangar Hux restationed Troopers/Officers to not be patrolling and/or working in the immediate area.

Hux leaves them to their own in the hangar. The hangar is busy even on off hours that pilots/stormtroopers are too busy with their own business to question why a captive is being escorted through.

+ I reason Hux learned at some point that the captive is Poe Dameron, and knows his reputation very well. Hux figures Poe and the stormtrooper will evade being shot down.
