so maybe he saw Hux without his dorky FO cap on right as they blew up a Resistance ship and Ren was dazzled by Hux's backlit fire orange hair.

and then maybe he gets a look at a little orange trail that snakes under the front of Hux's breeches.

p much anything where Kylo is fascinated with the contrast of Hux's hair (body hair included) to his pale skin. can end in body worship-y smut or vaguely platonic naked staring standoffs in the FO locker room.

bonus point: while Ren was staring at Hux's hair, Hux was suppressing a childish desire to try and connect all of Ren's freckles (including the ones on his butt, there has to be at least two on his butt)

I loOOoove Ascetic-Mortification-Of-The-Flesh!Kylo and the fandom delivered on that and I adore every single one of those fics!

But what happens when he is redeemed?
Is he going to stop? Just stop right away something that had become a habit, a daily ritual, dare-I-say-it... a source of comfort?
The whip/ the belt/ the tightening of the cilice... those were instruments of the dark side!! They harnessed his longings for the light, purified his body, focused him into an instrument of the force!.. they also calmed him and stopped him from breaking everything around him (as long as he could break himself).
Let's explore that mindset!

What I'd love :
- Ben Organa doesn't stop.
- He tries to be discreet, he knows how it looks.
- People see anyway because it's hard to be hide something like that when you are under surveillance for war crimes.
- People are freaked out/concerned/disgusted/mocking
- "What did you expect from snoke's lapdog? He is damaged goods I tell you"
- It's not self harm, of course it's not self harm! It's obviously a question of discipline! (why can't they understand?)
- Scars, old and new and ever growing.

What I do not like :
- Woobie Kylo. He is not a poor baby muffin who didn't know any better. He is a choleric, out of control, self-destructive man whose ideology was all he had and just went trough a paradigm shift.

Could be Gen, could be Reylo or Poe/Kylo or Finn/kylo or whatever you like. You can pretty much do anything you want with the prompt whether it is exploring his coping habits ; his place in the resistance ; his relashionship with his mother or what he had with snoke, a reaction fic from ReyFinnPoe's point of view... Go wild!

Somehow Kylo Ren & Hux end up at the Resistance base. However they get there is up to the filler.

Leia is prepared to hate Hux. He is everything about the First Order she hates: cold, ruthless, willing to destroy an entire system just to remove a single threat. She should want nothing but to see him dead.

But Hux is so gentle with Ben. So willing to fight or die for him. So not what she expected.

They both have very odd ideas about what is and isn't acceptable, no set boundaries or safewords. It's been working for them, so far.

Kylo pushes Hux further than before during a bout of rough sex, and Hux drops like a rock into sub-space. One second Hux is as closed off to him as ever, the next he can tumble straight into this addled void where Hux's mental barriers should be. It freaks them both out.

It keeps happening.

Kylo finally screws up the nerve to approach Hux for sex, expecting to have to work for it, maybe even woo him a bit. Much to Kylo's surprise, Hux immediately consents. He hadn't counted on Hux being quite this easy, and arrogantly assumes he must be gagging for it.

But no: the First Order has been raised to have low body shame and a socially casual view of sex (gotta have an outlet for all that stress). According to convention, it's proper for the subordinate officer to initiate. Hux is quite flattered, and indulges Ren's overtures. He's unbearably smug.

+ Kylo discovers this by accident, catching Hux eating out another officer in an empty conference room
+ Kylo hadn't actually noticed he was the most repressed and prudish person on the ship, starts realizing he lives in a hive of sin (the storage rooms light up like absract psychedelic art under blacklight)
+ public showers are somehow weirder (even tho the FO are entirely unfazed by naked bodies calm down ren)
+ Everybody thought Kylo's a recluse and are mollified now that he's ~engaging socially and isn't actually in a bizarre chaste cult (he is).
+ He has crazy nonsense ideas about monogamy but compromises with Hux by voyeuring.

No one is more surprised than Ren when Hux takes a blaster shot meant for him.

Kylo and Hux have some really aggressive sex from time to time to take the edge off but it's never lead to biting and oops Hux forgot to tell Kylo he's hemophiliac. Cue Hux bleeding a tad bit too much and now Kylo is going "??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" while Hux is trying his damned best to calm him down and to get him to take him to the med bay.

++ Kylo makes sure to so much more careful with Hux from then on
+++ Instead of having rough sex they have Aggressive card game night
+++++ Hux has a tattoo of the clotting factor he's missing and being ~~extra badass~~ because of it
+++++++ Kylo becomes 100% more protective of Hux to the point he is nicknamed by the crew as 'The Generals Guard Dog'

The Resistance trio infiltrate Snoke's hideout as part of the final plan to eliminate the First Order, and while they're there they come across Hux locked up in a cell.

Their first instinct is to think it's a ruse of some sort, but Hux explains to them that following the failure of Starkiller, Snoke had him locked away and tortured and he's basically been stuck in a living hell ever since. He doesn't expect them to believe that he's somehow become a better person, but that doesn't mean he can't be useful to them, given the knowledge he has and how very badly he wants revenge.

+ Disagreement between the three on whether freeing him is a good idea.
++ Hux showing them some of the physical injuries he's sustained as evidence (bruises, cuts, badly healed broken bones, pulled out fingernails...)
+++ The Knights of Ren were involved, but Kylo himself wasn't.

There was no Order 66. Anakin and Windu managed to stop Palpatine and put a stop to his plans, ending the Sith cycle and bringing balance to the Force. Anakin still chose to leave the Jedi, not fully trusting them, to raise his children with his wife Padme.

Jump to the present (past) where Luke has a daughter, Rey and Leia has Ben. And they are ready to start dating. Grandpa Anakin isn't happy. In fact he's terrifying and has a record of scaring away their boyfriends/girlfriends.

And now it's Finn and Jessika's turn to meet him. And he's more terrifying and protective than Han and Luke combined.

+ Finn is a Jedi and not really supposed to be dating, Anakin bonds with him over it.
++ While he bonds with Jessika over her being a pilot.
+++ Poe? Just Poe.

TW: implied past assault/coercion

Mitaka and Hux have a roleplay they engage in sometimes. Hux starts calling him “sir”, pretending to be a lower ranking officer, and Mitaka takes advantage of him. Orders Hux down on his knees to suck his cock, or bend over his desk, a little rough handling, etc, just makes it up as they go along. It’s not necessarily what Mitaka is into, but he is into Hux, and this seems to be Hux’s preferred method of asking for it.

++ If Hux pushes Mitaka to go a bit further (hurt him, yank his hair, saying he’d lick the cum off of Mitaka’s boots, gunplay, Mitaka could hold a knife to him to keep him still, etc) and Mitaka is Not On Board ++ if Hux gets anxious about Mitaka's denial
+++ Hux uses this as a method to cope with past trauma
++++++++++ Mitaka suspects the above (and goes along with it anyways)

The KoR have always ignored Hux as yet another FO uniform, but since the destruction of the Hosnian system his Force-aura has gone from regular-grade lawful evil to actual Destroyer of Worlds. It's the Dark side spiritual equivalent of a stunning makeover.

Cue Hux being the centre of their terrifying, jealous attention. Their varied non-traditional approaches to flirtation. Futile demands that Kylo stop harassing him with his death-cult. Kylo's growing agitation at their actions, culminating in the mother of all tantrums on the theme of "I saw him first."

I noticed that Hux always lets Kylo have the last word/say every time they interact, except when they're before Snoke -- and even then he bounces his ideas through Snoke. So I'd like to see more of that -- maybe a 5 + 1 fic, or even Hux learning through bitter experience that Kylo has no chill and will escalate if he doesn't get his way.

++++++ if Kylo does not communicate when he gives opposing orders/requisitions resources, troops et al. Or gives Hux a head's up when he loses force sensitives in Starkiller during a critical moment of vulnerability and it makes Hux's life a conga line of Suffering

(I love backtalking Hux as much as the next person, but I'd like to see the other way around, too)

Whammy knock out every time, flopping onto his partner and snoring, maybe even clinging, totally gone to the world. If they don't come before him or weren't prepared to suddenly have all of his dead weight slam down on top of them, well, too bad. You're stuck now.

Lando and Luke were together and raising a little girl, who turned out Force sensitive and whom they believed dead after the attack, or smthg. Luke isolated himself, Lando... drowned himself in public works in Cloud City? Joined Luke on the island? Something else?

All I know is I want Luke and Lando reuniting with their not-dead daughter. Yeah.

Fast forward from the events on Starkiller. That much exposure to radiation had to have some effect on the crew that survived the implosion.

Hux gave that speech and watched the weapon discharge without even a protective Stormtrooper suit. What will the First Order's greatest General do when he's faced with cancer?

Hux is a hardass university Professor, hated and feared by his students in equal measure.

Kylo is trying to earn his second Masters degree (canon age) and especially hates Hux who he thinks is singling him out for punishment (he is).

Then in a glorious twist of fate Kylo discovers Hux's secret blog filled with pictures of him wearing pastel lolita dresses and soft make-up and pretty shoes the works. Kylo plans to use this information to blackmail the professor into giving him better grades but it's pretty obvious through the exchange how turned on he is by the whole thing and Hux instead just starts leading him around by the dick.

I came across that post in the Hamilton tag and my mind just went to Kylo/Matt for some reason.

Kylo dresses up as Matt to seduce his way into The Resistance and even though that person is like 90% sure that's Kylo Ren in a wig and they're gonna marry their worst enemy...Matt is just so charming!

+ The big reveal were everyone already knew.
++ If it's Finn, but it can be anyone except Rey please.
+++ They did get married, Kylo keeps a framed picture of them to cry into every night because he totally liked them.

When Snoke/the First Order decide to go the empire route, Hux's hopes are dashed and Kylo Ren is made Emperor. Hux, efficient as he is, is chosen to become the equivalent of Kylo's Grand Vizier or Hand or whatever. Which amounts to (from Hux's perspective) Hux doing all of the work for none of the glory.

+ Hux has to write Kylo speeches
++ Kylo was chosen for propaganda purposes
++++ In reality they're both puppets and this situation is punishment for their failures at Starkiller - a way to get emotional Kylo out of the way and remove Hux from commanding on the front lines but still make him do the paperwork no one else likes
++++++++++++ They conspire in a coup, take over for real, and ironically keep the same titles since demoting Kylo while promoting Hux would probably result in some kind of unrest (but in reality they're actually more like co-commanders again)
(if Kylux, not established and emerges out of mutual frustration for their situation & that they can only really trust each other)

Hux is fixated on order and control, and that extends to his body too. Carefully regulating what he eats is just another way of ensuring that he always presents a polished appearance.

Someone (maybe Kylo or Mitaka) is concerned. Hux insists he's not unhealthy- he knows the exact number of calories he needs to function, and consumes exactly that.

+ Hux miscalculates or has to exert himself unexpectedly and starts fainting while on duty.
++ It developed during times of heavy rationing after they fled to the Outer Rim.

Everybody thinks that Kylo wears the armour and mask to cause horror, he actually wears it because they hide his body, which he finds far more horrifying

Kylo leaves to train with Snoke, knowing it could be years before he sees Hux again. He expects there'll be Angst, weeping, but Hux seems stoic. He is so strong. Kylo will think of them sharing and withstanding this unbearable torment to keep him going.

Hux turns to Phasma as the shuttle leaves and says, voice choked with emotion: “This is the happiest day of my life. We have to escape before he comes back.”

++ There is a protracted goodbye in the shuttle bay, wherein Kylo leaves Hux ample time to smear ashes, rend clothing, mourn

Rey was a baby when Ben arrived to the Jedi academy, she was abandoned by her family due to her Force sensitivity, Ben felt abandoned himself, didn't want anyone else to feel that way, so although he was only ten, he took on the duty of caring for her like a little sister. Ben is her first word, he teaches her how to walk, changed her nappies, everything. He protects her during the massacre and before going to Snoke, he saves her and drops her on Jakku.

Bonus: Post-TFA, when she meets Luke, she remembers Ben

Hux’s mom is banging and Kylo wants to get with her.
