Hux is busy, Kylo is a horny pest. Hux takes care of him by wanking him off while continuing to do his work with his free hand and not really paying him the attention that Kylo wishes, talking about work and barely looking at him and telling him off a bit/shushing him/telling him to hurry up and cum coz he needs both hands.

WHO WOULD SUSPECT MILLICENT OF BEING A SPY? This is totally how he knows which officers trash-talk him behind his back.

Basically what it says on the tin. Finn doesn't join the Resistance because he doesn't want to be in a military environment. He can't deal with it, no matter how different the Resistance is.

However he does want to help, just not as a soldier. So idk how, but Finn becomes a sort of free agent/bounty hunter/assassin/all around seemingly unsavory but not kinda guy, whose loyalty is to the people of the Resistance that he cares for, who he will do anything to protect.

Maybe he stays and trains a bit after he wakes up and they find out he's like a really good spy and good at a bunch of things (super competent Finn FTW). Then he goes off to meet with some of Leia's contacts (LANDO) to help them in different ways and picks up all kinds of neat tricks, makes allies/contacts of his own and basically starts getting a reputation during the war.

And he gets the requisite scars and things, so when he comes back for check-ins/visits (because Finn would totally visit his babes, mom and friends) the changes are always kind of jarring because they never see him otherwise. (OP kind of wants a Finn who is playing with his appearance a la body mods and gender expression?). And that's why even though he has a bounty bigger than the Resistance's monthly budget, no one can get him, because he's ever changing his look.

So I've got this new kink and I might as well try it here.

Finn is always the first on the tarmac when Poe gets back, the one who makes him SLEEP, and rest, and eat properly, and exercise. He keeps an eye on him when he has nightmares, and basically can bully Poe into behaving. The others call him Poe's wife, and Finn has no idea what that means until he realizes that he's getting kind of gyped in this whole deal, because while he does all that other stuff, he's not getting laid. So he lodges a very convincing protest: either he gets some loving or they're getting a divorce.

(Poe does not want a divorce.)

omg this quote though, I can so see Finn saying something like it to Poe: "Worried? Why would I be worried? Mister find-a-nice-planet-build-a-house-oh-sorry-gotta-go-get-shot-at-some-more-love-ya-babe."

Finn is hot, but seems to be flirting with everyone and Poe is INSANELY JEALOUS, but tries to (fails to) keep it to himself. This would be fine for all the others on the base, except Finn being a cocktease and not actually putting OUT is untenable. They force Poe to look into what the fuck, and Finn sheepishly reveals that he just wants to make friends, and the only way he really knows how to do that is to imitate how Poe is friendly with him.

(Basically Poe flirting with Finn without actually saying what he wants from Finn is why the whole base is in an uproar.)

For some reason Finn keeps ending up on jakku

Finn thinks he should just be grateful for every small morsel he gets after a life in the First Order, so he's pretty sure he's not allowed to have Poe, since EVERYONE ELSE wants Poe and they are all better qualified to have him than Finn is. So Finn does his best to stay nondescript and out of the way and try not to monopolize Poe's time.

Meanwhile, Poe is super in love with Finn and wondering why the guy keeps withdrawing away from him.

CRACK KIND OF? But, after seeing all the longing looks and awkward adorable flirting between Poe and Finn but not getting any sort of CLOSURE, a bunch of people in the resistance decide to get their happy ending (and shameless smut) by writing fanfic of Poe and Finn and passing it secretly around base. Except then Finn FINDS some of it, and reads it, and realizes he wants it to be true SO BADLY. So he uses some of it as kind of an awkwardly hilariously bad "how to" guide.

Poe's gets sent on some kind of infiltration/information gathering mission where he has to somewhat disguise himself. He returns looking like Oscar did in Inside Llewyn Davis with the curly hair, beard and rounded belly...

Once Finn is done with is 'wait you're Poe' double-taking Poe is all 'No worries Buddy I'll be back to the old me soon'. Finn is sooo very not worried he just wants to get Poe alone for reunion sex so he tug on Poe's curls and play with his belly cause he is super fucking into Poe's new look.

Poe is being a dumbass about jumping Finn's bones, so all the pilots under his command opt in on a plan to make him jealous by taking turns flirting shamelessly with Finn.
