When Adam told Jessa that on last night's episode of girls, I immediately thought of Reylo especially in light of her telling him that they couldn't be together because they would destroy each other and the relationship would end with him in a body-bag and her pregnant and on the run to the Mexican border, and then still ending up flicking the bean next to him on her couch..

Jessa's accent isn't fake either? Adam is just trying to get her to admit that she likes him (which she does).

Okay. I'm not sure I understand how someone can "hide behind" an accent when it's just the natural way they speak, but I'm sure other commenters might understand the concept better than I do. :)

OP here, thank you, Anon. I read through it all and I can't find something like what I describe :(

This is a shameless self-insert I guess but basically what I experience is like, I can't access language under anxiety, especially during confrontation (not always, just sometimes). I have never been diagnosed, and when I've tried to tell therapists nothing comes of it because I can't prove it or express it, so I've just sort of found ways to cope with it or get by (hence the bonus)

I'm bilingual and a writer and normally I can do very well, but like, on occasions I get unwell I just can't speak, and when I can push myself to I slur and stutter and it's entirely monotone, when it's very bad, sometimes I can't understand what people are saying, I hear them but can't understand. I often try to read lips and such and try to complete sentences from context but it can be very frustrating for the speaker, especially when for starters things were highly emotional. Sometimes I can't even do that so I just isolate, and on occasion when it's truly really horribly bad, I can't read or write, like, I can try but I forget anything beyond the previous two words so it's pointless. I can't think in words at all - so I can't like, watch TV or listen to music, or read. I try to do manual stuff or sleep :/ maybe the speech thing is different from the lack of understanding but it often occurs together. It might more like depersonalization, but I don't know really :(

I don't think it's supposed to make all that much sense, honestly. He's just frustrated because he thinks she's hiding her true feelings. People say weird things in the heat of the moment sometimes. The connection in his mind might be that there's a stereotype that British people are cold.

so obviously he was right about her being into him even if it is a terrible idea for them to get together.

OP again: it can be just normal selective mutism or any speech difficulties though, I just added bonus because of the thing I have and posted above but I know it sounds kinda made up

lol, really? I'm a Brit and I thought the stereotype these days was insular football hooligans... with maybe a slight remnant of the old school stiff-upper-lip thing.

Han convinces Ben to come home but Snoke isn't going to let him go that easily. He starts whispering to Ben again, trying to convince him his parents and the rest of the Resistance will never truly forgive him, he'll always be dirty and soiled, etc. Ben desperately tries to block out the voice in his head but Snoke knows all the right things to say to drag him back to the darkside.

As Ben starts to break down Han and Leia figure out what's happening and stay by his side constantly, holding his hand, stroking his hair, telling him to listen and concentrate on their voices and not Snoke's. Basically I just want protective parents Han and Leia getting a second chance to protect their son and both of them being determined not to let Snoke take him away from them again.

Please, I need it.
