Kylo Ren is increasingly obsessed with Rey. Hux is less and less indulgent of the tantrums that ensue. So he thoughtfully allocates First Order funds into the advanced robotics research wing and presents Kylo with a completely accurate, physically pristine android copy of the damn scavenger, in the hopes that this will get it out of his system.

It doesn't.
