Just saw the video from another source and was thinking that this was probably what the jedi padawans got up to when they were on cleaning duty. skimmed back through here and copy pasted, only to find the same awesome. I think i watched it 5 plus times, plus the making of that follows it.

Scary competent Sith lord Hux is everything I've ever wanted! Seconded!

Well, basically, what made me first start relating was in Finn's reaction to the "look at how great the First Order is" broadcasts, which is exactly how I feel about a lot of American patriotism, which isn't much but it made me start thinking. Finn doesn't fit in very well socially with other stormtroopers, and a lot of his success in general seems to be from being good at following orders and memorizing scripts. This probably is meant in a "Finn just has a conscience unlike other stormtroopers" way, but I don't think this is mutually exclusive.

It's all very circumstantial (especially the thing about the broadcasts! there are probably lots of NT people who think that too) but I am in the "fanfiction exists to explore all the possibilities, and if it's REALLY a stretch just call it an AU" camp, so I'd really like to see at least one fic where Finn is ND, whether someone sees this and decides to write it or if someone just links to something that someone else already wrote.

Maybe this has been done a thousand times already, but I haven't seen it! And I need it. Poe and Finn are shot down over an ice planet. While waiting for rescue, to survive the low, low temps, they have to huddle together for warmth. I'd love it if there's only been stoic pining up to this point, but obviously all that is going to change.

Hux is a deep cover Resistance agent, and has slowly worked his way up to the rank of General with morally questionable means. He has secretly been feeding the Resistance as much information as he can right under Snoke's nose for years, and Leia is the only person who knows his true allegiance.

Ben Solo hasn't really turned to the dark side, but makes an excellent show of it. He and Luke constructed an elaborate plan for him to take Snoke down a long time ago, and the two of them are the only ones who know about Kylo Ren's loyalties.

Then Hux and Kylo meet. Then they become rivals. Then they fall for each other.

It's a disaster for them both- neither knows that the other is a double agent and struggles to reconcile that they've fallen in love with the enemy. Give me lots of conflict and angst, anons!
Though I request a happy ending please. Whether they decide to run away together or wait until their plans come to fruition is your choice.

okay, so i think that "hux's cat named millicent" has become widespread enough fanon that i can prompt something for it at this point. i imagine that millicent wanders around the ship, and like... finn, being the cinnamon roll that he is, develops a good relationship with hux's cat. do whatever you want with it, but my ideas were either

1. when finn and poe escapes they grab the cat and hux hunts them across the galaxy or
2. hux finds out that millicent keeps sneaking away to cuddle with a stormtrooper, and the awkardness that ensues

Has this been done yet? Kylo's partner finds out that he's ticklish, much to Kylo's surprise. He should be embarrassed but he finds that he's into the weakness and loss of control instead.

Anything with someone straddling Kylo and tickling the hell out of him only to realize he's not exactly hating it when he starts grinding his hips against them.

Same anon. The worst part is I have more of this and I could probably keeping going:

- Padme was Kazakh, not Khalkh in ethnicity like most Mongolians. Since this was two generations ago when intermarriage was actually illegal in some aimags (not under official law but you could be refused a marriage license and people would refuse to let you join their camp or sell you things)
- The above is why Obi-Wan tried to keep Anakin from falling for Padme because it could only end in hatred from the rest of the world and he didn't want to see Anakin suffer through that
- Anakin went through life with a matronymic and was not ashamed of it
- As Vader in order to command respect he dressed in traditional clothing to stick it to the increasing and at the time polarizing shift the nation was making towards 'Western' styled clothes
- Obi-Wan was a remnant of the more Buddhist traditions still practiced in Övörkhangai and had parentage from Töv just like Hux, hence the red hair
- Poe's parents lived in the ger district of Ulanbataar and worked themselves up from poverty to the middle class
- Poe's mom is dead just like in canon; she was one of the Temstelsetgel (a now defunt union of female mine workers) and he's both proud she was one of those rare women who could take such a physically demanding job and mourns for her death at the hands of a cave in
- Said mine was part of Vader's business empire because everybody knows those places as shady as fuck when it comes to safety regulations
- Luke is hiding out in the town Zuunmod and has done what he can to help restoration efforts for the monastery of Manzhir Kiid, this AU's equivalent of the Jedi Temple/island he fled to
- Luke grew up in Selenge far away from Vader's empire, working hard on a wheat farm his entire life and though he isn't an angry guy he'll defend Selenge as being as good a part of the country as any to snobby Ulanbataarites who look down on him
- Han's last name was chosen by himself because it sounds Chinese but like many smugglers he's actually mixed race
- Rey is specifically from Gobi Sumber and lives in one of the old abandoned buildings from the military bases and housing the Soviet Union once had set up there
- Maz Kanata's place is in Arkhangai in the forests and is built into a mountain with a rather diverse clientele of people who know that Central Mongolia is not a place to get into shit so it's neutral as can be and anyone can find a reprieve there, from criminals to refugees, if only briefly
- The other Stormtroopers are basically the street gangs of Erdenet and they will watch over each other no matter what it takes
- Rey vainly holds onto a scrap of fabric with an ölzii design on it she kept from when she was a child and believes against reason someone will recognize the design one day and bring her back to her family
- Ben goes to talk to any ovoo (think of them as crudely made ancient stone structures that are considered a place spirits can hear you and answer) he finds instead of Vader's mask hoping he will hear an answer from his Grandfather and probably snuck out as a child to one to sit by the stones and cry his heart out
- Ben has Kazakh features like his grandmother (large eyes, thick eyelashes, first three toes being of equal length) and learned to hate the world because of how people treated him due to this; Leia 'passes' for Khalkh and doesn't understand her son's pain and Han is just as lost
- Anakin and Padme used to listen to Sarantuyaa songs on their barely-working radio out in the middle of nowhere and Amragiin Tavilan was their song
- Leia wouldn't admit it but every time she hears Ijii Mongol by Altan Urag she thinks of Han
- Instead of killing his father Ben recites to Rey a version of Jamukha's speech to Genghis Khan about how the two cannot exist at the same time without unbalancing the future of the nation and hands her his lightsaber demanding she kill him as Genghis killed Jamukha
- Poe is part of the unbearably smug Mongolian hiphop scene and is one of those people who just has fun with it
- Finn messes up vowel agreement in his spoken Mongolian whenever he's excited
- Rey has freaked Poe and Finn out with bullshit legends of not just the Mongolian death worm but entities lesser known to those outside the country like the Skin Weaver and Spiderknife that give at least one of them nightmares
- Hux pretends to be above religion and superstition because that's last century crap but secretly buries wish stones on the outskirts of town when he can get away with it; he's only human

Good lord I ramble when my sleep schedule is off.

Damn this was great, poor Poe though!
