The doors to the refresher slide open, and Hux almost chokes at the sight of Kylo Ren, suddenly in his room, and inspecting the heel of one of Hux's boots.

"I see why you've left these on," Ren says, and even through the helmet his tone is mistakingly taunting.

"I see you're still barging in where you're not welcome," Hux snaps, recovering. He strides forward to grab back the boot, but it's yanked from his reach. Kylo Ren is holding it above his head, and Hux will not give him the pleasure of jumping for it. He settles for glowering.

"I never realized how short you really are. What else are you hiding?"

Hux feels his face grow warm. "Do you want something?"

Ren tosses the boot aside and reaches for his helmet. Hux hears the familiar hiss then Kylo Ren is staring him in the face with an expression that makes him want to blush even harder. "If I were here on business, I would have knocked."

"I'd like my boots back."

"You don't need them." Ren closes the gap between them and lays a hand atop Hux's head. "You're the right height on your knees."

Hux bats his infantilizing hand away. "You're a prick. I don't have time for this."

"You have time." Ren's hands are at his waist now, and Hux isn't sure if he should allow himself to be pulled closer. Show me what else you've been hiding."

Hux's face is burning again. He draws in a breath. "I rather prefer to give the orders."

"Not this time." Ren's grip tightens, fingers pressing through the heft of Hux's layered jacket. "Shall I make you show me?"

Hux shudders. Yes, make me, says the twitch of his dick in his pants, but the thought of actually saying it is mortifying. Ren's hands move to the clasps on his jacket and they fall open so fast Hux isn't sure he hadn't somehow used the Force to do it.

"Wait—"

"I want to see you." Ren yanks his jacket back, hard enough for Hux to feel a little like a rag doll. "I want to see what you're so ashamed of."

"Have you been poking around my head?" The look in Ren's eyes is too much; Hux has to look away. "

"I haven't had to. It's obvious." The jacket falls to the floor and Hux tries to catch Ren's hands as they head for his belt. Ren leans in close to his ear. "You're even nervous when I touch your cock. Afraid I'll realize how small it is?"

Hux cringes, wishing he could hide his face without losing what's left of his dignity. "E-excuse me for being average."

"'Average' is generous."

Hux's eyes start to sting. "As if you...if you have enough experience to—"

Ren shoves him away. "This is taking too long. Strip."

This time, he's sure it's the wretched Force. Ren's hand floats above his shoulder and Hux's shirt slides off his arms, falling to the floor. Then his belt snaps loose.

"Are your legs as scrawny as your arms?" Ren asks, and Hux draws in a breath as a hand pushes down his trousers and stops to toy with his embarrassingly hard cock.

"Don't worry," Ren says, so close his teeth graze Hux's ear. "I've always had an appreciation for miniatures."

"Fuck you."

"I'd have to undress for that, and I'm enjoying our current arrangement." Ren pulls off his gloves, then returns his touch to Hux's body; one hand on his stomach, one returning to between his legs. "Do you really hate it? To be seen like this? To be touched like this?"

"Stop," Hux says, but as Ren must know, he definitely doesn't mean it.

Casually, Ren is donning his gloves again. He retrieves his helmet and replaces it on his head without another glance at Hux. "Goodbye, General," he says in his altered voice. "I hope to see you again soon. All of you."

For once, Hux can't think of a comeback.
