First time I've seen an a/b/o Luke/Rey prompt. I'd love to see this, because DAYAMN I love how this prompt handles this...

Actually this idea started nagging me after seeing a prompt about an Omega!Luke/Alpha!Rey, and I wanted to fill it just to see if I can get out of my comfort zone. After reading more about female Alpha and male Omega I had to give up. But this version of events happened in my head :)
If no one picks it up, I'll do my best to write it soon.

Yay! I love this prompt, so I'm glad it will be filled one way or another :D It's rare to see a/b/o fics where both the Alpha and the Omega make decisions to manage their biology (either with meds or with inner-serenity) - I see a lot of chemically suppressed Omega stories, where a huge part is being able to actually trust Alphas enough to go off of them. The fact that being an Alpha has it's problems as well is not often addressed.
So, uhm, yeah, I think there's a lot of potential depth here :) And lots of feelings. (And hotness. Let's not forget!)

Can you link to that prompt?

I like 90% of your prompt but I just can't get my head around alpha!Luke. I can't see him as anything but a beta or omega...

OP here. I can sympathize because I like a lot of the prompt I mentioned, but I see Luke as being a very active energy. It took a lot of training and motivation to subdue that part of himself. He forged his character fighting to control the power he has, but Yoda's original assessment of his nature mentioned anger and impatience. Even when people learn to control their natures, learn to play well with others, the essential nature doesn't change.
