Rey has some sort of mark (a tattoo or brand) signifying that she "belonged" to Unkar Plutt. Leia has something similar from her time with Jaba. (I know this is altering Rey's sort of free-lance status a bit.)

Wow, that was (un)surprisingly powerful. Your story flowed really well and the cut-off dialogue felt genuine and convincing. Leia handled the whole thing exactly as diplomatically and compassionately as I'd expect from her.

OP here. This was exactly what I wanted. Something gutting but then ultimately healing for them. I've been really moved by the shift to Hut-slayer from Slave Leia in the collective conversation about the character over the past few months.
