You can add it any way you want, and it doesn't have to be 'bonus points' even. "[Main prompt] (If X and Y slow danced to "I had the time of my life" I'd love it even more!)" etc. Using the + sign formatting similar to another poster can make people think you're the same anon prompting again, and people get grumpy when they think someone is bending the meme rules about prompting too many times per page. :)

The '+'s are a really typical kink meme thing that have been around forever. If people have been around other kink memes, it's likely that they'll use it here too. There's probably a lot of people around who use them so don't take them as some sign of who is posting or not. That's just asking for trouble.

People do though, which is why someone warned the OP about posting too often, because it looks the same as the way other posters are doing it. using an individual format is just a way to side step that in future.

People copy formatting they see around. A lot of kink memes end up having really uniform looking prompts because a style forms.

Being on the lookout and trying to determine how much a certain prompter has posted leads to shitposting, which has already been here in spades. The little reminders I see around never do much good because assumptions are made and people can get pissy.

Not the person you're replying to but agreed. I keep seeing anons trying to play police and it worries me.

NA, but ITA. Each kink meme ends up adopting it's own style and at the end of the day, things like how a post is formatted really isn't a huge deal.

I feel like I'm showing my age but I've seen the '+' format for at least the last decade I've been writing, so its something I've stuck with myself

Can you not? This "someone" is trying to be a mood and policing other people posts all over this meme and is pissing a lot of people off, there's no need to encourage them. Just let other people prompt as they want to.
