Hux is rather touchy on the subject of clones, and not just because he wants the First Order to use his stolen baby army instead.

The real reason is that Snoke keeps a stock of clones of people who are important to Hux (family members? Clones of Hux himself?) and any time Hux messes up, as punishment, Snoke makes him watch them die. Maybe Snoke makes another character do it, or even forces Hux to kill them himself. Maybe he threatens that next time, it could be the real one instead of a clone.

On man, my heard. Seconded.

A bit late to posting this as I finished it last week but never had time to post? Sooo... here, have this. It might not be what you were looking for exactly, but it's around about there?
