Poe/Finn - slow build, friends to lovers, missions getting in the way of a developing relationship

Instead of rushing into a relationship, Poe and Finn take the time to become friends and get to know each other. But other things have priority too: like Finn recovering and undergoing physical therapy and maybe being stuck in long meetings about info he knows on the First Order or going on undercover missions. And Poe is being constantly sent on missions that take weeks or months, so it makes forming a relationship complicated.

Basically, give me a slow build that's full of angst and loneliness and has a lot of pining where it takes them awhile to build up to anything romantic. And then Poe is sent out on a really long mission that requires little to no contact and it makes him realize that he misses Finn a lot and he finally understands why his parents retired from the resistance so they could have time together. But then he misses a check-in or gets into trouble and Finn realizes he'd be devastated if anything happened to Poe and wants him in his life in any way possible. And it leads to a sweet reunion where feelings are accidentally revealed.
