So has the obligatory punk/band au been done yet? Because if not just imagine frontman/guitarist!Poe, bassist!Rey and drummer!Finn. Maybe they've got a enemy band consisting of Kylo, Hux and Phasma that Finn left?

Grand Admiral Thrawn finally gets back from the Unknown Regions, having been away for decades dealing with the Yuuzhan Vong, who are now defeated. He gets back to find the Empire defeated, the First Order having carried over most of the Empire's bad points and few of its good ones, and large portions of the galaxy in ruins. He is not best pleased.
Bonus points for:
- Any mention of the Hand of Justice, another group of defecting Stormtroopers who ended up heroes for much the same reason as Finn.
- Thrawn and Snoke really, really don't get along. At all. They dislike each other both personally and professionally and each considers the other a disgrace.
- Pellaeon appearing in any form, but especially Thrawn/Pellaeon

This is one of my favorite ideas right now that I need someone to write. So seconded.

I'd like to see the loss of Slip really catching up to Finn. It affects him enough to defect, but then he gets thrown into that crazy adventure without any time for the loss to hit him.

(I'm not adverse to Stormpilot h/c but no magically healing cock)

For whatever reason - could be a biological experiment, could be a breeding program - the First Order implants Finn with alien genitalia and reproductive organs. How does Finn react and deal with his scary and unfamiliar new body? How does he cope with the forced change to his physicality? Whether his new genitalia allows him to get pregnant or not, and whether he does, is up to you.

When Luke finally speak to Rey after the long silence he shakes his head regretfully and tells her this :

"Oh, child. You should not have come here."

(as unbelievable as it seems there's a bigger evil than the first order in this galaxy, and luke did not go away willingly ...)

not op but how are we supposed to know how many words we're writing ? there isn't a countdown when we write a comment and it's kind of fastidious to count every words to check

Can we not do this here in the prompt post? I agree with everyone on the "long prompts are annoying" side and I don't want people to start seeing us as the assholes in the situation, which is how arguing in the prompts post comes across. Just take the higher ground.
