Kylo Ren-no, Ben Solo has returned to the Light side. He fight alongside the rebellion and helps defeat Snoke and the First Order.

As the rebellion is about to take its victory and destroy the Finalizer, Ben tries to persuade Hux - whom he'd had love-hate relationship while he was still Kylo Ren, but now after returning to the Light, has fully realized & embraced that he loves Hux - to come away with him, to survive.

Hux refuses, calling him a shell of a man whom he'd once almost loved. Ben watches, helpless, as Hux calmly meets his death in the final explosion.

I dunno, I just had this random idea all of a sudden. Make me cry, mates.

Awww so good.... Unrequited love... It would be heartbreaking if it weren't so twisted.
Oh feel free to add as many "next part will be the last part" as you want. The story is very well written. Thank you for updating!!!

This is just so good. I could read it a bunch more times just to catch all the nuances of manipulation. It's just wow haunting. I love and adore Rey in this. I could read so much more of this. Her thoughts and even after the trial how she feels. Facinating.

i am completely heartbroken, i have been several fantastic dark WIP with my beloved kylux at ao3, and then this week, like 3 authors decided, to steer away from the darkside, and wrote their next chapters with kyle and hux on their way to the light.
I AM AT A LOSS, those fics started out so great, with either option ending in death or new order glory..instead i feel like my dark heart is squeezed to death by the light path.
can someone write me , no matter how short, something totally unredeemable kylux? they kill snoke , then each other, coz new order is loosing? or alternatively killing each other? they kill leia and luke together? blow up several star systems with the starkiller?
just, save me from that damn light side, and i will hand you over my soul and firstborns.

Poe and Finn aren't together, despite the whole Resistance shipping it and placing bets etc. General Organa did not get this memo, and pulls Poe into a meeting. Far from being in trouble, she's smiling for the first time since Starkiller and delighted that he has someone in his life- she just wants to make sure he's doing ok and isn't going to get his heart broken. Or break Finn's heart.

This is not how Poe thought this day was going to go.

When they first told their parents, as soon as they turned 18, they had been horrified. By birth right, they were royalty, and not merely by blood but by deed.

"Your father is a piloting legend!!! I am the leader of the Resistance!!!" Leia cried out in exasperation, "Your uncle Luke is rebuilding the Jedi order!!!!! YOUR UNCLE CHEWIE IS A WAR HERO!!!!!! Are you really telling me that you did not find any inspiring paths around you except THAT?!"

The twins stared at her in mild horror. Maybe they should've kept it a secret, they might not have found out then. Ben heard the fleeting thought on his brother's mind and replied with a gentle 'No, brother, we need to fully dedicate ourselves if we want to be legends. They'd realize we weren't actually learning Jedi stuff.'

"I can hear you! I know 'Jedi stuff' too," Leia was nearly growling in exasperation.

"Granddad would have supported us!" exclaimed Kylo dramatically, to which Ben nodded eagerly.

"Every single thing your granddad supported, tended to be a terrible plan," she replied as she rubbed her temples. It was quite obvious she was going to let them do what they wanted though, she was big on autonomy and individuality. Still, surely there were better ways.

"You instilled in us respect for manual labor, and taught us that sex was something beautiful, not something to be ashamed of..." Ben spoke gently, all reason and composure.

Only to get interrupted by Kylo's near-shouted of "Yeah, it's your fault, really!"

Han who had been witnessing the whole exchange awkwardly in silence, recognized the livid look on his wife then, he knew when to diffuse situations. "Make sure they pay you in advance."

Yeah, that would do. Good advice for the boys and... well, it didn't make Leia less angry but at least she now directed her rage in a bright red glare at him so, mild success.

"Nobody is paying us..." started Kylo with a scowl, which had Leia lose her balance slightly - yeah, that was a little worse. Ben sighed and finished his brother's dramatic statement.

"...we are running our own pornholo transmission hub, any person who wants to watch, has to send credits directly to us! We're entrepreneurs!" said Ben with a big smile, and looked towards his brother with a nod.

"That's... great!" replied Han awkwardly, "look at our boys... so... entrepreneurial! Right, dear?"

Leia had given up entirely, seemingly having left her body and headed to a nicer plane of existence where her husband and children did not exist.

"It'll be called 'Solo twins', it won't be only porn, Kylo wants a cooking section!" Ben stated proudly while Han lost all color in his cheeks... the reputation of his name! Without a blink, Ben continued "We needed a porn name that differed from our Organa last name, and we like it because it works like... ONLY twins!"

Both Leia and Han stood defeated now, just nodding along to their babbling, until Kylo finished the diatribe with a comforting sort of thought: "Don't worry mom, we're mostly doing 'solo' scenes... you did warn us about incest!"

Well, yeah. At least that, she did.
