Rey/sex toys

Rey is an amazing mechanic and the desert world doesn't exactly have a sex toy shop. Cue Rey being able to make a vibe out of basically anything. She made all sorts of toys during the long cold nights on jakku and had no reason to be embarrassed or ashamed of her hobby.
Now she's with others. Does she proudly show off her creations to other mechanics? Does someone ask her what she's making? Do her toys become in high demand on the base? Or is she a legend in bed because of all of her accessories?

I'm good with any/all pairings, solo action, or whatever. I just want to see mechanic Rey using her skills for the greater good

Poe/Finn, modern AU based on the series Spaced

Poe is an aspiring singer and Finn is an struggling comic book artist who works at scary Phasma's (no one knows her real name) comic book shop. After moving out/ getting kicked out of their current homes, they happen to meet at a coffee shop while apartment hunting and become friends.

Despite only knowing each other for a few days, they decide to pose as a couple to meet the requisites of an advertisement for a relatively cheap apartment, owned by the landlady Leia Organa. Also living on the apartment below Finn and Poe's is Leia's son Ben "Kylo Ren" Solo, a eccentric conceptual artist.

While Poe and Finn are posing as a couple, they eventually start developing real feelings for each other.

Also featuring: Leia's niece Rey who soon becomes Finn's best friend and Poe's best friends Snap Wexley and Jessika Pava, who share Poe's intense enthusiasm for paint ball. And Poe's dog BB-8.

Gen- Leia takes after her father

Leia always reminds me a lot of her dad- headstrong, a force to be reckoned with, a bit short tempered, a natural leader & military strategist. She's gotta have a dark side similar to his, too, right?

Han's death, and the fact that their son killed him, shakes Leia up, and that dark side comes out. They capture a First Order agent with info on the whereabouts of Kylo and/or Snoke, but they're not talking. Frustrated, Leia asks for a moment alone with the prisoner, and when no one's watching, force-chokes them for information. (Inspired by an episode of Clone Wars where Anakin does exactly that to Poggle the Lesser).

Finn/Poe - force sensitivity/near death experience

Mostly inspired by the first three pieces in this (http://oyoshima.tumblr.com/post/136399072148/i-done-a-bad-im-in-stormpilot-hell) collection.

Rey isn't the only one of the new trio with a direct link to the Force. While he's no Jedi, Finn is Force sensitive. (Makes sense that he'd be able to handle a saber so intuitively, even with his combat training.)

As their relationship progresses, Poe takes Finn on more Resistance missions with him (teaching him to fly, giving him chances to do reconnaissance work, etc.) and Finn couldn't be happier. Until they get shot down in Poe's x-wing and separated in the crash. Yet again.

Poe's squadron probably find Finn first, but they lost contact with Poe and it doesn't look good. Finn knows Poe isn't dead. He knows it.
(So many bonus points if the scene in the art gets incorporated but nobody dies. Permanently. Maybe for a few seconds. Then everything's alright.)

Everyone's a part time worker at the Cantina Coffee shop.
-Rey works for her Uncle's pick and pull junkyard full time but he barely pays her so she needs to supplement her income so she works part time. She doesn't have the greatest attitude for customer service but she's the only one keeping the temperamental cappuccino machine working so they can't fire her.

-Finn was homeschooled and somewhat sheltered. This is his first real job and he's going to do it right. He has a penchant for making kittens in the foam of drinks & tries to occasionally teach Rey (her kittens always look angry though). He's actually really good at making drinks on the fly and coming up with daily specials and also helps keep the other workers getting along.

-Poe refuses to get a real job but he needs to put gas in his home built ratrod racer which he spends all of the rest of his time rebuilding and racing. However, over time, he's become really fond of his co-workers. Also, the customers love him. Also, he flirts with everyone so he gets better tips in the tip jar. Also, at the end of the shift he shows off by doing donuts in the parking lot in his ridiculous rebuilt speedster, blasting 'I Love It' at full volume.

-Kylo Ren is the overcaffinated art student whose parents don't understand him. Frequently sitting in the back writing sad poetry about the good old days when his grandfather was some bigshot. He might or might not have a lowkey crush on Hux, the somewhat abrasive ROTC student... or any of the cute employees. Or all of the above. It's so hard to be an art student. So conflicting. Only my poetry understands me.

In the scene where Finn and Han question Captain Phasma, Finn reveals to Han that he worked in the Sanitation department. I've been thinking, can there be a fic where Sanitation actually means something more sinister (First Order's pretty awful) and Sanitation is actually the name of the Stormtrooper squads used to wipe out enemies? How would Resistance members respond to this?

I love fics that explore Finn's First Order training and the existential crises he deals with (like the need for touch & names). If you include Poe/Finn and/or Finn & Rey, I would be ecstatic.

When Finn wakes up from his coma he has amnesia. He can't remember anything from around the time he see's his fellow stormtrooper got shot on Jakku on wards.

The film glossed over Finn's history as child soldier and the trauma he would have continued to experience as he came to terms with his past and what the First Order did to him, but luckily fic can fix that.

Rey won’t look Poe in the eye when she refuses to practice x-wing maneuvers, and that really should have been the first hint for Finn.

The next day she ate lunch with Jessika Pava, waving off Finn’s offer to join him and Poe. She showed up at their shared quarters in the afternoon, saw that Poe was there, and ended up not staying.

On the third day of this behaviour, Poe asked Finn, “Should I apologize?”

“To who?” Finn replied, startling a bit. Poe’s shoulders were slumped, though he kept his hand on Finn’s.

“Rey, she’s - I think she’s mad at me about something. Has she talked to you about it?” Poe sighed when he saw the confusion on Finn’s face.

“I haven’t really spent a lot of time with her. Between helping out with training new recruits, and my time helping out in the infirmary, and spending time with you,” Finn paused to smile at Poe, “we haven’t spent a lot of time together.”

“Maybe she’s mad I’m stealing all your time? I don’t want to get between you and her. She’s important to you,” Poe says, linking his hand fully with Finn’s.

“I - oh. I hadn’t thought about that,” Finn said, then blinked and frowned.

“I don’t want her thinking she doesn’t matter to me just because we - uh - we’re - we’re together,” Finn continued.

“I’m sure she doesn’t think that - if she’s frowning at me she probably thinks I’m the reason you’re so hard to get alone.” Poe said, then leaned forward to kiss Finn’s frown away.

Anakin + Kylo - Grandpa Love

So there are lots of prompts about Anakin losing his cool about Kylo's affiliations/evil/incest-crush-on-grandpa/etc. Those are hilarious but I'd really love to see one where Anakin is using the force to try to do something very sweet and paternal, too.

Maybe he's comforting him after a nightmare? And he's trying gently to dissuade him from the path he's following because he's been there too. Anakin knows what it's like, and for once it doesn't make him mad, it makes him sad.

Just something where Anakin loves his grandson just as much as Kylo hopes he would.

+++Bonus points if Anakin's temper does flare about it...but only when the other jedi have commentary. "Sheesh, I see that one took after you." irritates him but "What a melancholy brat!" infuriates him.

When they take Kylo Ren prisoner, Rey ties him up, bound at the ankles, wrists behind his back. She's used to securing cargo, locking things down tight enough to hold through sinking pits and sandstorms. Later at some temporary outpost in the middle of nowhere where they're on a mission with Ben, he comes to her door in the middle of the night, wild eyed, shaking, covered in gouges with his own blood under his nails. Finn and Poe and Rey all wake up fast; they move to reach their weapons, but what he says is: "Please kill me. I don't want to hurt anyone, I don't want it to happen again." Finn says, "Whoa, okay, let's calm down, nobody is going to be killing anybody", and Rey narrows her eyes and catches Poe, who is already headed off to find a first aid kit, and tells him to find a pair of wrist locks and bring them back with him.

Being restrained makes Ben feel safe, mostly from himself and what he might do to the people around him. Give me gen or psychology h/c or porn, anywhere meme wants to take it.

Now that they're out of the heat of the moment, Finn is struggling a little with having killed other Stormtroopers - even if they were on opposite sides, and he didn't know them personally (although he might have, he'll never be sure), he still knows what their lives were like, and how little choice they had. And he knows the First Order will have just written them off and moved on - officially, the troops aren't allowed to do any mourning for each other, outside of the standard. So he asks Poe for help - to give names to the Stormtroopers who died at Takodana and Starkiller Base, to find a way to memorialize them, maybe to do some secret Stormtrooper 'honoring the dead' thing that they kept from the officers - because he can at least remember them, if no one else will.

Fine with Finn/Poe or Finn+Poe friendship for this one.

Author's note: This got WWAAAAAAAY longer than I expected so it's commented in three parts. Jess doesn't actually show up until part three, so don't worry!!!! She's important to the story!!!

I.

“So, your first option is Kare Kun, an old pal of mine,” Poe said, keying in the code for the first bunk. “We were New Republic pilots together, actually, before we joined the Resistance. We go way back.” He grinned over his shoulder at Rey as the door to Kare’s bunk slid open.

Rey looked up from fidgeting with the zipper on her jacket to grin back, butterflies flitting in her stomach at the familiarity in Poe’s face. He spoke about joining the Resistance so casually– like it was just a regular activity, on par with eating lunch or taking a shower. Just a natural step in his life.

Rey thought back to Jakku and the endless sameness of the desert, the sameness of the people tearing anything scavengable from the land, the sameness of the days, each one an identical chalk mark streaking white across the wall. Joining the Resistance was like slamming the wall down with a Star Destroyer.

The door slid open, and Poe peeked his head inside. “Kare? Hey, I’m just stopping by to show Rey the bunk, like we talked about?”

A voice called back, silvery and light, “Oh, of course! I’m excited to meet the Jedi girl.”

The hairs on the back of Rey’s neck stood up at the word “Jedi.” Is that me? Rey wondered to herself. I’m just a scavenger. But she followed Poe into Kare’s bunk with a knot of anticipation in her stomach. Scavengers live alone, she told herself, and I don’t have to do that any more.

“Kare Kun, this is Rey– uh,” Poe paused awkwardly over the space where he would say a last name, the realization suddenly hitting.

Rey made eye contact with him and smiled. “Just Rey,” she finished for him, holding out her hand to Kare. She was taller than Rey had pictured, and much older. Well– not older older, but she was closer to Poe’s age than she was to Rey’s. She was square-jawed and slightly sunburnt, with thick black hair pulled into a twisted ponytail at the side of her face.

“It’s a pleasure, Rey,” Kare said, with a lopsided smirk. She surveyed Rey with dark eyes, and for a moment Rey resisted the urge to zip her jacket tighter, hold her arms closer, hide herself more. But then Kare dropped her hand and turned to nuge Poe with her elbow.

“Well, she’s certainly got a stronger grip than Iolo, I’ll give her that. And better looking, too.” Her eyes darted back to Rey, and both she and Poe broke down into snickers.

Rey looked between the both of them with a half-smile and pretended to chuckle, but searched Poe’s face for an explanation.

Poe caught Rey’s look. “Ah, Iolo was part of our squadron, back–” he suppressed another giggle and exchanged a glance with Kare. “He’s– well, he’s a character, so, don’t worry, Kare’s only saying nice things about you. But, anyway, you should look around the room. That’s why we’re even harassing Kare in the first place.”

“Aw, it’s not harassment when you’re here, Poe,” Kare said, and they both snickered again.

Rey drew her attention to Kare’s room. One half of the room was empty but for a bed and a small dresser. Altogether, it was a smaller space than Rey’s home on Jakku in her AT-AT, but there was something about the closeness of the walls that she liked. And if she could decorate it, make it feel a little more like home… She thought back to her little dying flower and the pieces of Rebel Alliance pilot uniforms she displayed in her AT-AT before realizing with a pang that those possessions weren’t even hers any more, anyway. Jakku was light years away, and besides, as soon as she was noticeably gone, her home had probably been raided of anything remotely valuable. Some little desert creature could have even made it’s new home there– or worse, someone could have dismantled it for parts. Rey never wanted to go back to living alone in that AT-AT ever again, but the thought of her home being sold for scrap made her heart sink low in her chest.

“Kare! You still listen to this crap?” Poe exclaimed. Rey turned back to Kare and Poe, who was examining a large poster Kare had tacked up behind her bed of three Twi’leks in spiky clothes, in the process of smashing their instruments.

Kare put her hands on her hips. “Jozzisa and the X-wings is a classic band, and better than that neo-pop garbage you blast in your spaceship.”
Kare had several other posters around her side of the room featuring bands of a similar calibre. Rey didn’t recognize any of them, but why should she? Her only references for music were the old recordings that she scavenged and the house band at Maz Kanata’s castle.

“Come on, Rey, back me up here,” Kare said.

Poe shook his head. “Rey has a lot better taste than you, trust me. You still watch reruns of Empire-sanctioned holodramas.”

“Just because they were mass produced by a fascist empire as a form of controlled entertainment doesn’t mean that they were bad entertainment!” Kare looked back at Rey again for approval, and Rey gave a quick nod, having no idea what she was agreeing to.

“See!” Kare said, and Poe sighed. They bickered like siblings, Rey thought. On Kare’s dresser was a wrinkled picture of both pilots, much younger, arms draped around each other and grinning widely at the camera. Rey gave a small smile back to the picture, imagining for a moment the day it was taken and what kind of teasing they must have given each other then. Rey couldn’t even make up things for them to tease each other about– she didn’t even know what they were talking about now. It must have been fun, for the two of them, to have their big Resistance adventure together.

She wondered if Finn was allowed to listen to music or watch First Order-sanctioned holodramas while he was a stormtrooper, or if he was as disconnected as Rey felt. Not that she could ask him, what with him still in a medically-induced coma. Maybe she’d ask him anyway.

“What did you think of Kare’s bunk?” Poe asked, after they had said their goodbyes to the pilot.

Rey shrugged. “She’s very friendly. You two have known each other for a while.”

“Yeah, well, that’s Kare. What about the room? Could you see yourself living there?” Poe asked, watching Rey with eager eyes.

Rey tried to imagine living with Kare, a seasoned Resistance member with her flashy posters, next to Rey’s empty side of the room. “I feel like we’re too different,” Rey said, “I don’t know if she’d like living with me. I wouldn’t be able to keep up with her.”

Poe frowned. “Well, Kare has been with the Resistance as long as I have. Maybe we could find you someone closer to your age. There’s a junior officer who’s been waiting for a new bunkmate– maybe she’d be more your speed.”

BB8's creation

The film says that BB was a customised droid right? Or did I mishear that bit?

I’ve started headcanoning that Poe and his father Kes built BB8 themselves as a father-son bonding experience while Poe was growing up.

“Your mother always said how important it was to have the right astromech.”

On one of Poe’s birthdays, Kes buys him a book with lots of different droid schematics and tells Poe to carefully choose the one he wants. And for each birthday and important holiday after, they slowly buy the parts needed and build BB8.

And before they start BB8 up they have to go register the droid and get the designation the unit will have. To their shock they get given ‘BB8’.

“There’s only 7 other BB units out there?! What’s wrong with the unit design that only 7 others have been built?”

“Nothing’s wrong with it dad! It’s perfect!”

And they start BB8 up, and the unit starts to get its personality based upon its interactions with Poe and Kes just before Poe goes off to join and train for the space navy.

Kylo Ren / Hux - Snoke blackmailing Kylo Ren, Hurt-Comfort

Kylo and Hux were already in a relationship before the events of tfa, they only faked to dislike each other to hide it from Snoke. But he discovered it anyway and used it to manipulate Kylo. He told him that if he didn't kill his father (or anyone else who was close to him before he joined the First Order) if he met him again, then Hux would pay for it with his life.

That's why Kylo looked so conflicted before killing Han Solo, a part of him really wanted to go back to the good side, but he knew he had to choose between his father and his lover and in the end he couldn't bring himself to give up on Hux.

Killing his own father left him broken and hurt, even though he tried not to let anyone see how he really felt in order to keep his position in the First Order, so he could keep on protecting Hux.


+Hux didn't know about it and he only discovered it later and then tried to comfort Kylo as best as he could.

+Hux becomes very protective of Kylo and does everything to protect him from Snoke's schemes.

+ Kylo and Hux relationship was actually a healthy and loving one, not really fitting with the standards of the First Order.

+Maybe at one point they consider leaving the First Order, but they have no idea where to go since everyone in the Resistance must hate them now because of the death of Han. (It's up to you if they finally decide to leave or to stay)

+Kylo and Hux somehow knew each other before joining the First Order.
