I used to have a similar fear, but then I realized who gives a fuck. Fandom call-out culture is toxic as hell and I'm not going to let it control me like that.
I can't even enjoy them if they can be conceived as of a rapist in fandom.

Yes. It's the production of content (fics/posts/art) that people criticize, not the consumption of it.
And when it comes to producing content of a dubious nature you kind of have to expect that someone is going to find it problematic because, well, it's problematic. No one is stopping you from writing it though. Just give the proper warnings if they exist and then either moderate comments, don't claim it, or accept that just like you have the freedom to produce content others have the freedom it respond to it.

Also, it's a personal pet-peeve, but people are not obligated to write what others want to see so if you want to see more non-fluff fics, then write one yourself and get the ball rolling (good writer or not--everyone starts somewhere, might as well be with an idea you like). Fanfic is not commercial in most cases, so it's not about appealing to some customer base. The Overwhelming response from the thread a couple of pages back was that people write because they saw an idea, liked it, and wanted to write it then share it because why not? Someone else might enjoy it, too.

Yeah same here. It's also why most of the femslash pairings with Rey leave me cold; unless it's Leia or Maz (which I can't remember ever having been prompted? Maybe I should...), she hasn't really had any interaction with other female characters that we've seen.
