I am so unbelievably sick of people constantly calling for prompt freezes whenever they're dissatisfied with the meme. Can we just pick a schedule and stick to it?

I'm sorry I didn't mean to sound dissatisfied with the meme - and if a minority/nobody wants to freeze it, it certainly shouldn't.
Clone Wars and Rebels are also as official. But I doubt many people will watch them.
I've never had to deal with the trolls, so you thought wrong. But I have been around communities for a while to know how trolls work.

What are your biggest hurdles as a writer? Do you struggle with motivation, plot, dialogue, description, editing, criticism, etc.? I'm just curious. Personally, I struggle with self-motivation and writing purposeful dialogue.

Motivation, especially sudden and complete loss of interest mid way through writing a story. I have four WIPs that died that way and they still haunt me :/

I usually start with a vague idea that spirals into a long plotty fic, but once I know how I want it to end, I lose all motivation to write.
My other big hurdle is the opening sentence. I can't start writing a fic until I know how i want it to open. So, really, I guess my hurdle is being able to write the body of the fic since I'm always set with the beginning and ending.

So I often struggle with the scene-building stuff that I know I have to come back to. I know what needs to happen, I just don't particularly feel like writing the scene itself. Yay for time-skips.
2) Also, I often find the logistics of porn difficult to write and that can take me a while.
3) Finally, inspiration and ideas. That's what I'm here for :)

Very very true, spent most of my time in the hobbit kink where everyone was less interested in wank and more in prompting and filling so it's great there
I remember a while back people complaining about logged in posters because they were "doing it for attention" but didn't it occur to them that people stay logged in on kink memes so they know when somebody responds to their prompts or fills? I still get responses from fics on kink memes I posted in 2011, and sometimes kink memes benefit from people who come back to them after a long time because they get an email saying somebody wants more.
Extremely old prompts also get fills after four years, and when it's all on anon and nobody's watching out, nobody notices anymore.
Also I've made some amazing friends from way back who I recognized in later fandoms because we both stayed logged in on kink memes.

Sometimes I can't tell if fills are meant to be jokes in response to a prompt, intended crack, or if the author meant for it to be serious and I have no idea how to leave a comment on those fills.
I still leave comments on everything I read, but then I only read the pairings and gen prompts that interest me so I'm not sure what's happening in the Kylux prompts, for example.
