I haven't played DA:I yet, but I assume it's like Fenris and Isabela if you didn't romance either of them in DA2. I like when the companions do their own thing if you don't romance them.

It's more than one and it's hard to misinterpret the direct statement that John made.
Did they really? Whenever I play I always romance one of them, so I never knew this. That's so cute. And it fits in with my OT3 pairing of Female!Hawke/Fenris/Isabela.

I, for one, do not consider things like Millicent canon. No matter how hard people try to insist it's canon because someone involved with the movie made a joke.

It has little to do with his race though. Badass characters have been made weak and helpless in fanon for as long as fandom has existed. Original K/s fic had a LOT of weak helpless (and bottom) Spock. Dean Winchester got so woobyfied in fanon the first year the creators started incorporating more emotion for Dean Winchester in the show when Sam was supposed to be the emotional sensitive one.

ikr? Just goes to show that some parts of fandom interact with source material differently form other parts of fandom (thank goodness!).
I think unless threads are frozen or better screened attention is still going to be given, because people don't all check the meme at the same time, and when someone new comes on and feels compelled to react to posts they feel attacked by, the wank starts again.

Could we freeze for a tiny 24 hours when we reach 1000 comments for prompt 4? Maybe I'm too old for this but I can't read all the prompts at this rate..
Considering the prompt post just opened two days ago, I'd be worried that another freeze would cause people to lose interest or get upset.
