She watched from her position on the ground as Kylo finally took out the pike wielder by decapitation. He shut off her saber and came to kneel next to her, “We should go.”
Rey let him start suturing her up when she asked, “So you really are Ben Solo, runaway student?”
He chuckled, “So is that the story Uncle settled on? I mean, admittedly it sounds better than ‘he ran away from Jedi school to be a hooker’ which is how my father put it, stop laughing, this is delicate work!”
Rey managed to control her mirth until he finished. She grabbed his hand and pulled him in. “Is it wrong to want to keep you with me?”
“Oh probably, but I know I wouldn’t complain.” He brought her hand up and placed a kiss on the back of it. Rey moved her hand and caressed his cheek. He leaned into the ouch and she moved very carefully to kiss him, a kiss he eagerly returned.
