AU Apartment complex.

Everyone lives in the same apartment complex.

-Leia's the building super for the absentee landlord "New Republic Housing Developments Inc."
-Kylo has his own apartment on the top floor and is the source of 90% of the noise complaints with his art/avant garde music/whatever he gets up to
-Hux lives next to Kylo and doesn't complain about the noise since he's figured out the best way to shut him up is to go next door and have crazy monkey sex for hours
-Phasma runs an "escort service" from her apartment which is basically a prostitution ring. She and Hux are lieutenants of the local crime boss Snoke.
-Finn used to be one of Phasma's most popular escorts but he met the building handyman Poe and they live together in the basement now.
-Rey was a homeless kid who spent a lot of time in the alley out back because her parents used to live in the building next door and she's waiting for them to come back.

Stuff like that.

Maybe Han and Chewie (the huge, hairy Russian guy with an incomprehensible accent) are the actual building handymen, but they leave it to the more reliable Poe to handle? Meanwhile, they run a more lucrative "cab service" that ferries Phasma's people around, delivers drugs, and will totally dump that body for you for a price, all behind Leia's back.

So, seconding, is what I'm saying!

Is Snoke plotting a hostile takeover of "New Republic Housing Developments Inc." to install Hux as puppet president so he can turn the whole complex fully to his own purposes? Does he support Hux's fucking of the superindendent's estranged son so they have him as a bargaining chip to use against his mom if she decides to go to the authorities about anything ever? Do Poe and Finn stop the boiler from exploding in a complicated insurance fraud plot after Snoke's takeover?
