Ooh, I like this prompt! Seconded, with ideas!

Things Kylo Ren might be surprisingly good at:

-diagnosing ship problems based on engine sounds
-mixing various food rations into something palatable
-treating burn wounds (not actually surprising, with that wreck of a lightsaber)
-finding resources in various hostile environments
-fixing ships with non-regulation/after-market parts
-speaking Shyriiwook, binary/droid, Huttese
-being overly familiar with New Republic law, and how to exploit its loopholes
-forging documents to further exploit said loopholes
-properly performing the traditional greetings of over a dozen NR member planets

Thirded, with terrible ideas!

Things Kylo Ren might be surprisingly good at (but doesn't want to be):

-styling hair up in twin buns
-playing sabacc
-cheating at sabacc
-winning back whatever it is his father lost this time in a game of sabacc
-finding kessel run shortcuts
-co-piloting
-reprogramming droids with his l33t hAxX0r skillz

-knowing what it means when an invitation's dress code specifies "cloud city casual" (it means mandatory man-capes)

Oh god, it's too early to be laughing this hard..! I love it! Oh oh oh, what about mandatory butt capes?? Those are a real thing, and not as hilarious as they sound, but still! Butt capes!

Hmm, could be discriminatory against all the sentients in the galaxy without butts to cape, though that would keep Hutts away from all your parties!
