So, that trope where whatever shows up on your skin, shows up on the skin of your soulmate?

Kylo and Hux are soulmates. They like to draw on each other and see it appear on themselves and viceversa.

Hux draws beautiful intricate designs on Kylo that then appear on his own skin. He often does it in a romantic or erotic context. It's beautiful. Also, on occasion writes on himself (in perfect calligraphy, grammar and spelling - succinctly and poetically) whenever he wants to contact Kylo since he can't use the Force voicemail like Kylo does.

On the other hand, Kylo can't draw to save his life and he won't stop writing V-A-D-R * R-U-L-Z on his knuckles (like he has every day since he was 13).

+ Hux asks him to stop but that always ends in him trying to give himself other sharpie tattoos and those are even worse.

++ That's why Hux started wearing gloves since puberty, Kylo only wears them because of both fashion and tradition. He'd show them off if he could.

+++ Hux has a soft spot for the knuckles because considering how covered they always are, they would have never found each other if it wasn't for them.

This is a really lovely prompt! I can just see Hux spending so much of his life puzzling over whatever the hell VADRRULZ means, is it a planet? A star system? His soulmate's name in an alien language? A message? Could it be a code? Is his soulmate testing him? THAT'S SO HOT. So he studies star maps and cryptography and all the languages in the galaxy.

Then one day he's having an actual civil conversation about Darth Vader with human disaster Kylo Ren, who's all, "Yeah, Vader Rules!" and something goes click in Hux's mind and he wants to jump out of the nearest airlock because no no no no that's so ridiculous oh no no nooooo
