Ohhhh, what an ice cold kill by Hux. Will Infamous Outlaw Kylo Ren get the blame for it? It would be amazing if that's what makes him infamous. Hux could sketch his likeness for the wanted poster!

Snoke always knows when to soothe him. When he's pushed Kylo far enough, and a little further, until he's clutching desperately at reality. Until he's wild and shaking with pain and fear. On the verge of lashing out and rendering something, someone else to ash.

'All is well, boy. All will be well. You know why I have to do this. Only to make you strong, to keep you from making the same mistakes again.'

His voice is the same unctuous note he heard as a lonely six year old, huddling under his blanket whilst his mother and father laughed in the next room. He could join them, he still knew at that point that he'd be welcomed, they'd make a warm hollow between them on the couch, where a steady heartbeat and gentle hands in his hair would send him to sleep. But Snoke was wise, told him not to get too attached. Great Jedi, strong in the Force, had no need for family, in fact it was a dangerous indulgence to be so dependant.

Kylo Ren nods his head, trying to stop his voice from shaking. 'Yes, Supreme Leader.' Blood drips from his nose and lips, a sinister pat, pat, pat on the durasteel floor.

He doesn't hear the door slide open, and only notices the sound of booted feet when they are a few paces behind him. 'Not now, General.' He warns weakly, without tuning his head.

'Sorry to disappoint you, kid.' Says a familiar voice.

It's a trick, it has to be. Snoke has finally snapped the last fragile supports holding his mind together. How strange that his mind would send his father instead of his mother to defend him.

'You have no business here, Solo.' Snoke says calmly. 'Ben is long gone.'

'You've really gotta do something about that thing on your face. I mean, removing the whole head would kinda be an improvement.' Han says, stepping forward between Ben and the tall, withered figure looming over him. 'You're not so impressive in the flesh. Figured you'd be taller. Ugly son of a bantha though, no doubt about that.'

For all his bravado, his knuckles are white on his blaster grip as he puts himself between Snoke and Kylo. His knees slightly bent, ready to spring. Uncertainty hovers around him, he doesn't know if this will be enough.

'Kylo Ren is a knight in my service. I only showed him the sheer scope of his powers.'

'You took a little kid from his parents, from a family who loved him and made him a weapon, you sick bastard.' He snarls. There's conviction in his words, his back is straighter now. He's projecting as though he knows Kylo can hear him. 'Don't worry, kid. I got you.'

Snoke reaches, not for Han but for Ben. 'Your father always was a selfish man, Kylo. I cared for you, I made you strong, I showed you-'

'THAT'S what you call strong?!' Han gestures to Kylo, on his knees and sobbing softly, his forehead to the floor. 'Hating everything, and trusting nobody, believing everything because you lied to him for years, killing kids because YOU told him to? Doing everything you wanted because you broke him until he complied?'

'I wouldn't expect someone with no knowledge of the Force to understand my methods.'

'I don't know enough about the Force, I'll give you that. But I know a creep when I see one.' He says, raising his blaster.

'I'd advise against it.' Snoke holds up his hand, just starting to clench his fist. Kylo shifts, gasping in fresh pain and clutching his stomach.

'It's funny how you'll always pick on him, the beaten guy on the floor. The one who already believes every word out of that twisted mouth of yours. What's the matter? Scared? Come get me, tough guy!'

Snoke snarls in rage, curling his fingers inward. Kylo cries out, his hand fisting in his robe over his belly. 'Please...please Han. Just go.'

'Not going without you. It's a done deal now.

'Ben's not here. There's nothing..' He growls. A sob shudders though him.

Snoke grins horribly at Han, squeezing the air between his fingers as Kylo moans in pain, curling forward. 'Lower your blaster and leave. He's chosen this life now. Or you can stay and watch him die die your foolish pride.' The first shot echoes through the chamber. Snoke stares blankly, stumbling back a couple of steps.

'Don't..' Kylo whimpers.

'Sorry, kid.' Three more shots enter Snoke's torso before he falls to his knees, and forward. He doesn't get up.

Helping Kylo to his feet, hauling his arm around his shoulder, Han murmurs 'I wish your mom were with me. She'd have ripped his damn head off.'

hey, OP, it's the anon from yesterday! actually, I love this extra. I think I can find a way to work it in. (your prompt just keeps getting better!)

a few more quick questions: where would you like this fic to fall in the timeline? like, several years pre-TFA? both before and during the TFA era? do you want them to still be co-commanders of the Finalizer?

sorry for bugging you for so much detail! I'm just trying to figure out if this will be canon-compliant, canon-divergent, or a straight-up AU. (I'm cool with whatever most appeals to you, or just winging it, if you prefer!)

Combining the happy and trashy tropes that I love.

Young baby Hux was found by Han and Leia shortly after the fall of the Republic. His parents were dead/couldn't be found, and so they took him in and raised him as their own. A couple years later, Ben was born, and thus the happy couple had two beautiful sons to raise.

Flash forward to 30 years later, and despite all the troubles in the Galaxy, notably with the rise of the First Order, the family is still relatively at peace. They fight for the Resistance, and seem to be the perfect models for all that is righteous and moral in the Galaxy.
Except that Ben and Brendol are totally having regular, filthy pseudo-incest sex with bonus very un-brotherly love for each other. If anyone actually found out, it would be very not okay, like catastrophically so. Good thing no one ever will, right?

Bonus:
+ Light-side Ben and Hux are much mellower than canon counterparts, but they still are temperamental and very prickly respectively.
++ Snoke decided to go for single child Rey Skywalker rather than more surrounded Ben. Years later, when Lady Ren interrogates Ben, she sees all the pseudo-incest. Clearly, those two belong to the Dark Side and she really needs to make everyone see that.

So I have a head cannon were Finn is very good at tactical planning/executing plans and thinking on the fly (hahapun) without realizing it. He stores information like a sponge, learning things as he goes and is just like "so I saw you do a thing, and you explained to me a thing, and I was in a place where things were exploding and I panicked".

Maybe a 5+1 fic where Finn is just randomly good at something small but life saving by just watching someone or making a connection just from listening to reports or whatever. And whoever you choose to have a giant crush on him (I really like Poe but super okay with whomever) is just like "you make me so angry because I can't fucking kiss you right now".

+ If someone tries to talk shop to him and he's all "???are you sure you don't want to talk to Rey???" and they're like "bitch I saw that shit you pulled on (whatever) mission" and he's like, "yeah I saw Rey do this thing and it only was a little different by (overly simplified reasoning)" and the someone just looking at the person that has a crush on Finn like "this is how you are going to fucking die"

I prompted something very similar to this in an earlier part so I must second this.

random question, how do you feel about (maybe just hints of) reylux?

So it's New York, where apartment hunting is a nightmare. Young working professionals hire house hunting professionals to help them find a place to live. It's what you do.

Poe hires old friend (who he kind of hates half the time), Kylo Ren to help him in the competitive apt hunting market. Poe just had a roommate bail on him and he can't afford to keep his two bedroom on his own anymore. Meanwhile, Finn, starting a new job in a new city, hires someone his coworker Slip recommends for being appropriately cutthroat at house hunting: Hux.

Cue the two pairs constantly running into each other at viewings all over Manhattan. Hux and Kylo are full of tension and long-time rivalry and once they know they're directly up against each other on this one, they set off to find their clients the PERFECT place and to more importantly, BEAT EACH OTHER OUT in signing it.

Meanwhile, happy puppies Finn and Poe keep looking forward to running into each other because love at first sight is apparently a thing. But what's even worse than that is that the two of them are SHARING the listings that they're going to see with each other and it is NOT helping their angry, competitive brokers ONE BIT.

(Ultimately, in the end, Poe and Finn decide to move in together into Poe's current place. Basically nothing goes in Kylux's favor except for maybe how they both get drunk and hate sex each other after a long day of losing their commission because their clients were both two people who are probably TOO NICE to live in New York.)

So Finn just doesn't KNOW how to pilot. But what happens when he's taught how to and ends up being a natural. The instructor even mentions that he might be better than Poe was when he first started out. Finn definitely doesn't want to take the title from Poe so Finn intentionally starts fucking up in the simulators, and Poe is watching and is pretty sure Finn is screwing up on purpose. Finn stubbornly insists that he's just not a good pilot, because he doesn't want to step on Poe's specialty AND because he doesn't want to ever stop needing Poe to take him places.

But then there's an attack, and Finn has to show the Resistance exactly how good he is to save everyone. He's terrified they're going to call him a big fat liar when he returns, but Poe is just THRILLED and SO PROUD of Finn. (And assures Finn that he'll always be happy to take Finn anywhere.)

As far as Poe's concerned, Finn's ass is empirical proof that there is higher power in the universe, and that it loves him.

Okay, I got exceedingly emotionally invested here just reading this prompt, so...

Rey stimulates Phasma's clit with the force when she's in some important First Order meeting.

Both Finn and Poe are captured by the First Order and interrogated separately. The interrogator realizes that it is useless to try to threaten Finn with physical harm so he instead tells Finn that Poe will likely be put into a First Order prison where he will inevitably get beaten and raped repeatedly before they execute him. Fearful for Poe's life, Finn ends up giving up Resistance information in exchange for Poe's freedom.

writer can decide what happens next.

Kylo loves Hux's tiny but soft tummy and rubs it and gives it kissies and squishes :3
