Fandom hivemind strikes again, I was just about to prompt something similar to this, so naturally seconded!

The Finalizer is in the red. Again. Hux hates it. His superiors hate it. Stop the on-ship destruction. Stop spending so much on repairs. He's getting berated while going over the new simulators that their pilots and stormtroopers will be using to train/enhance their skills.

Cue brilliant idea. Create a simulator so that Kylo can take his aggression out through it rather than on machinery/the ship. Except a simulation would require resources and additional funding that they don't have available on ship. But they do have numerous datapads that aren't in use. After permission from superiors come through he and their best programmers create a handheld device with a game where a character destroys everything and anything, gaining points in the process.

Game similar to GTA, just adapted to their realities. Stealing various spaceships, FO, NR and Resistance alike. Hoverbikes. More points given for stealing and/or destroying NR/Resistance things. ("Take out the Ewok!")

Kylo is absolutely not interested in the gaming pad to begin with. Over time he can't get enough of it. (Cue playing the game during onship-meetings, as well as meetings with Snoke.)

Snoke is not impressed. Berates and threatens Hux for distracting Kylo from his training.

More brilliant ideas. A training module/game through another datapad (converted to gamepad), enhanced further to let both games be operational without slowing down operations.

Somehow it gets destroyed. No matter how much Kylo begs Hux can’t make more gamepads. All the extra datapads have been reset and sent out to other ships for use.

... except for the gamepad that Hux secretly keeps for himself.

Kylo gets Hux pregnant with twins, and they're both pretty pleased with themselves over it.

I'm imagining Han making faces at Hux and telling horrible dad jokes while Hux attempts to give his big speeches. Seconded.

Snoke has his own aspirations, unaffiliated with the FO. Obviously. His game plan involves power to himself, destruction to many and enslavement to / worship from everyone else. Servants and enemies alike will die. Kylo is no exception. He’ll be one of the first to go. It doesn’t take much effort for the supreme leader to shield his aspirations/game plan/goals/methods from his apprentice.

Yet somehow, someway, all is revealed to Hux, unbeknownst to the supreme leader himself. One way or another all plans have been projected into Hux’s brain. Hux think he’s just being paranoid and doesn’t believe it at first. Then things get creepy as something he thinks he dreamt happens in real life.

+ In order to convince Kylo that he’s not lying he tells him to get into his head
+ They can’t tell everyone to work against Snoke, that would arouse suspicion, so they brainstorm long and hard (over multiple days? over a week?) who’ll they selectively collaborate with.
+ Realise they have to work with Resistance/NR/Jedi/KoR?/??
++ My only thought as to why Hux is on a brainwave length with Snoke is because he got electrocuted. Maybe a console got short-circuited when someone spilled caf on it but Hux was the one in front of the console, standing in part of the spilled drink.
+++ Unless anon comes up with a far better idea for Hux, with or without injury.

Sorry, I have something of a ~thing~ for the Knights of Ren.

I just want Hux interacting with one, some, or all of the Knights of Ren but without Kylo. Anyway, anyhow. Talking, flirting, making out, sexy times, absolutely anything. Or an argument. Or something else entirely. I just need to see how someone else would imagine their interaction to be like.

Kylo always felt dependent on Snoke; from the very first moment he manifested as discernible words in young Ben's head he knew he was the only one who understood him, valued him in the way he was meant to be. Snoke's validation was a balm after the rejection of his peers and the unease of his parents. He's always been his favorite person. Post Starkiller, after the humiliating fight with the scavenger girl and Snoke's betrayal, Kylo realizes this isn't the case any longer. He's in limbo. The troopers are little better than insects, the officers frightened cowards, Phasma is indifferent to him.

And then he notices Hux.

Hux likes to manipulate people. Kylo needs someone he can leverage for attention. And Hux has always been so good about giving it to him. It all works out rather neatly.

This prompt is fantastic, but I can't stop laughing at BJ6900.
