Rey is the lost princess of a kingdom, maybe Han and Leia as the king and queen? Finn's part would be inspired by Flynn, whether or not he's a thief or somehow his part is inspired by the First Order I don't care, but he stumbles upon the princess after running from a deranged horse (How is maximus not BB-8? XD). Poe as Pascal, maybe he is cursed somehow and that's why he's in this form but he has spent years with Rey without being able to let her know he used to be a guard for the royal family (also he used to be BB's rider)

This is phantastic - er, fantastic.

SECONDED TO INFINITY

The First Order are in negotiations to form an alliance with a civilisation from a remote planet, whose culture is built around strength and honour and symbolic rituals.

Things are going reasonably smoothly, but they have one last condition - if they're going to fall in line with the First Order chain of command, Hux, as senior officer, has to prove that he's worthy to stand as leader. This involves a complicated, physically tasking, violent and probably at least a bit gorey multi-step ritual that seems like the last thing our scrawny desk jockey General is going to be capable of.

But Hux has never met a challenge he was willing to back down from, and he's going to mind-over-matter his way through this or die trying.

He passes the trials with flying colours and Kylo has never been more turned on in his life.

+ for Hux coming out the other side of this covered in blood that isn't his own
+ for one of the steps being something along the lines of when Daenerys had to eat a raw stallion heart in Game of Thrones

AU where Ben Solo never became Kylo Ren and instead is a Resistance fighter.

After a failed mission, most of Ben's squad is killed and he is captured by the First Order. Hux at first assumes that they are going to publicly execute Ben as a bit of propaganda but instead they decide to hold him captive. Slowly Hux begins to fall in love with Ben but sadly he doesn't have the power to stop the First Order from abusing Ben. Ben begins to get sick due to starvation, neglect and his old wounds not being treated. Hux tries to convince the medical staff to heal Ben but he is told that Snoke ordered that Ben not be treated medically and to instead let him wither away. Hux goes to Snoke and desperately pleads to allow him to help Ben but instead Snoke just says that Ben no longer has any value and orders Hux to kill Ben.
Rather than kill Ben, Hux breaks Ben out and the two go to the Resistance in hopes of healing Ben before he dies.

While Kylo recovers after being brought to safety after grievously injured / rescued from exploding Starkiller Kylo can only think that he owes one to Hux. So when Hux is harmed during an ambush/wreckage/something, Kylo comes to the rescue. During Hux’s recovery time Kylo tells Hux that he owed him one.

Only Hux knows that he saved Kylo under instruction from Snoke. Yes, he would’ve done all he could regardless but it was still a direct order from Snoke. Hux counts this as he now owes Kylo.

The next time is during a big battle where it looks like anyone and everyone could die. Hux sees Kylo about to be struck down. Kylo is significantly injured but Hux interferes at the last minute, deflecting the blow, but at the same time being critically wounded. Hux figure he’s dying but is satisfied, knowing that he owed Kylo back.

But they both find themselves in a medbay, Kylo alive, Hux fighting to stay alive. Hux figures he owes one to Kylo for getting him to the medbay.

Kylo doesn’t disagree, holding Hux’s hand tight. “You owe me to make it through.”

+ Feelings/attachments developing over the length of time this takes place (as long as wanted!)
+ Rescues can happen regardless who is on which Side (same side for both or opposing factions)
+ Does Hux make it through?

This is a great prompt.

Kylo deigns to show up to a staff meeting. For once, Hux dares to hope that maybe this time he won't undermine him, maybe this time he'll actually act like a co-commander.

But nope. Humiliating Hux is the only enjoyable thing about these conferences. Ren needles him relentlessly, interrupts him, completely waves off his own culpability and delegates his own tasks as he so often does and-- Hux has enough. He snaps completely, too livid to be cautious, and goes off on Kylo. In front of everyone. Thoroughly insults him in every possible way, from his appearance to his attitude to his inability to follow through on any task, leaving it to someone else the moment it becomes difficult. Everybody waits for the inevitable moment Ren snaps his neck like a twig. But he... doesn't. He just takes it quietly until Hux is done, silently gets up, and leaves the room.

Kylo walks calmly to the first secluded room he can find, locks the door, and jerks off furiously, more aroused than he has been in his entire life.

In public, Hux barely reacts. He is a professional and there's no way he would let his emotions affect his judgement or interfere with the mission of the First Order and their shared goals with the Knights of Ren.

In private with Kylo he's a ball of concentrated vicious rage - punches Kylo in the face, twice (once to crack his nose, once to make it hurt), hurls every ounce of anger and vitriol and disgust at him, brings up every painful insult he can that he knows will cut deep into Kylo's own insecurities - makes Kylo suffer.

But finally, on his own in his quarters, he just curls up and quietly cries, because damnit he really loved Kylo...

(Bonus points for Kylo being genuinely sorry and regretful about what he did - maybe he'd been justifying it with some force related nonsense that he now realises is nonsense - but knowing that's not going to cut it to make things right again)

(Up to the filler if they want to give this a happy ending, just make it hurt first)

I'm interested in this. For force related nonsense do you mean Kylo forming a force bonds with someone else? Also is there a character you wouldn't like they other person to be? Or prefer an OC?

I'm not promising anything yet because I have some wips open and I haven't really written Kylux before, but to keep it my maybe folder.

I feel like this happened in canon at some point

OP here: I'm pretty flexible on the nature of the 'force related nonsense', I was just throwing it out there as a potential justification that Kylo could use for having been a dick to his partner

("You don't understand, I thought that sharing in more physical energies with other beings would help to strengthen my connection with the force, that it would help me wield it better, and it would be for the good of what we've been working towards... but now you're looking at me like I just stabbed you in the chest, and saying it out loud it just sounds... foolish..."),

but honestly whatever you want to do with it or not do with it is fine by me, it's very much an optional thing. I'm also cool with whoever you want the third party to be, canon or OC
