Stormpilot or gen: Finn isn't embarrassed by things, asks questions when he doesn't get shit

I keep rewatching the movie, and Finn doesn't really strike me as a guy with a whole lot of ego. Like, he straight up admits "I don't speak that" when it comes to languages, and is straight up "I worked Sanitation" with no hint of shame, and even talks about the circumstances of how he came into the FO in a passing matter-of-fact kind of way. Also, he totally takes everyone else's reactions to these things pretty much in stride.

So instead of seeing Sad Panda! Embarrassed Finn as he adjusts to life in the Resistance, I wanna see him openly asking questions about stuff he doesn't get, and very straight-forwardly honest about the stuff he went through in the order without hesitation or fear. I think everyone would find it incredibly endearing. (Poe most of all)
