Kylo goes back to the Light. It’s made clear that when everything’s over, it’s best if he fucks off. Phasma didn’t return after Starkiller; the safer option was to be ‘dead’. Hux is one of the few survivors of the Finalizer’s destruction. Snoke’s dead, the FO is so much dust in the wind, and they’re left with nothing to show for it at the end of everything.

By a series of coincidences they find each other. They’re still very much themselves, and not particularly sorry for the things they’ve done, but there’s something to be said for shared loss. They end up on board with Kylo and his shitty roadtrip of destiny.

+ Hux is now the one who wears a stupid helmet in public
+++++ Mercenaries/bounty hunters/smugglers to make ends meet. They’re still not good people. Ren makes disdainful noises about balance but he’s always first into the thick of it. Redemption’s hard.
+ Phasma and Hux get surly drunk on the anniversary of Starkiller, make sarcastic toasts
+ Always end up loudly fucking during the “moment of silence for Hos”
+ Hux wears his dumb hat when he’s in an especially foul mood
+ Piling up on one bunk. For body heat. Obviously.
+ Phasma and Kylo “spar” (aka Kylo gets his penance beating, she gets to exhaust her rage on somebody who can take it)
+ Patching each other up
+ Pitiless and unkind comfort
+ They’re all damaged. But maybe a little less so together.

This a thousand times over!
