They say that loyalty is a useless trade, especially at the empire. That everyone is at the emeperor's disposal. The empire is efficient, it's as peaceful as anyone can ask for. The rebels are no more, not thwarted but appeased by fis father's actions.

Jaymin still hears it though. The hushed whispers of doubt. The fear on their voices.

He knows the story of how his father fought for the empire. That their way is paved with blood and sacrifices. It wasn't easy, it wasn't pleasant.

Who can complain though? They have order, the outer rims is succumbing. The slavery is almost gone. No one under their protection is hungry. They make sure of it.

It's still there. And he can't avoid it. The story of his father's treachery. How he betrayed his master, with a lover on his side. Someone strong. Someone next to unstoppable.

He hears it. How his father manipulated the knight. How he gained loyalty was gained in bed and lost in betrayal. How the emperor came out alone in battle.

The weak gossip. They talk of how his father had struck a weakened Knight. How he was used for ambitions and how his loyalty was discarded.

He seeths. Because they don't know. They don't know how his father spends more of his time inside 'the room' rather than his own. How he spends the night, almost comically craddling a too tall man.

They don't know how when he was younger, his father would kiss the man's forehead before walking him on his own room and tucking him in.

No one at the empire knows where Jaymin came from but whenever he looks the mirror, fixing his hair, a gift his father gave him. He revels the way it matches his brown eyes.

He doesn't need to ask questions. He doesn't need to correct their lies.

Beautiful. So is Jaymin a 'clone' of the two? And what happened to Kylo, is he comatose?

Ahhhhh yeah. It's not like Hux will ever address it but he's a clone of them. Kylo may say he's a gift from the force. Well Kylo's not wrong. In some ways.

Hopefully I'll be able to write more Kylo.
