For one reason or another, the First Order needs to lie through their teeth look like they have some serious royal support from some far flung planet that no one has head of BUT TOTALLY has a powerful monarchy and massive army at their disposal

Therefor, Kylo Ren takes after his grandma for once

+ Ren rocks a version of Padme's white powdered face, red lipstick, and cheek dots
+ ridiculious royal fashion but with Sith influences (cough cough suspenders and wader pants cough cough)
+ Ren is so pretty people fumble for titles (Queen uh.. Lord.. Uh M-Mistress.. Your Grace)
++ Ren doesn't correct them, which leads to unsure marriage offers to forge alliances
+++ Hux and Phasma are impressed at how well he can pass off the disguise/act

All the women in his family have had such unique hairstyles, surely he'd look good trying out something fit for a princess~! Like actually brushing it!
