Ben/Hux - arguing on who defects

(Anonymous) 2016-04-02 07:21 am (UTC)(link)
After many meetings on the battlefield, interrogations, temporary team-ups in order to survive (those last ones are much more frequent that one might believe. Really), Ben Solo and General Hux have to resign themselves to the fact that they are in love, and wish to be together.

Seing as they are on opposite sides of the war, that might be a problem.
The solution is easy enough: one of them has to defect in the name of love. Problem is, neither of them want to.

Cue to Ben and Hux arguing as to why it should be the other one who defects. "Solo, I am a General! Why would I leave?" "I have friends and family here, Hux! You can bring your cat with you if you want!"

The Resistance doesn't know if they should encourage Ben, put a stop to this relationship, or ignore it entirely.

Bonus:
It's not a one time thing. It's the kind of regular couple argument, so much so that next time Hux is captured by the Resistance, his interrogation is somewhat compromised by his continuing disagreement with Ben.

Awesome prompt! Why can't they just both defect and create their own side?
