I love love love that he didn't need to poke around or overthink it, just knew what would help. In this kinda fic, you expect the Alpha to be all "you should stop", and that's bullshit and sexist...? IS that the word? I'll keep using it, whatever. But this isn't that- Ren doesn't try to dissuade him. He points out that this is a bad idea, but doesn't push once his suggestion is rebuked. Just... perfect, perfect, perfect. Supportive and considerate and respectful, in a way you fucking NEVER see in ABO fic.
