Poe/Any, Poe and Ben role reversal au

Leia's and Han's son Ben does take after his grandfather, not as a Jedi but as the galaxy's best pilot.
Shara's and Kes' son Poe is the new rising star amongst Luke's pupils until he turns dark and kills all of them.

I'd love if character-wise Poe and Ben stayed the way they are in the movie, so Ben is quick-tempered and awkward while Poe is charming and snarky.

OP here, I'm open to any and all pairings although I'm not too keen on incest so preferably no shipping Ben or Poe with their respective parents

I wouldn't lol! I meant since we are changing their roles Poe will be interacting with Hux and Finn with Kylo. Unless you'd prefer me to change Hux and Finn's roles too?

You totally can if you want but as I said I'm completely fine if you want to go with Hux/Poe and Kylo/Finn or any other pairing :)

I'm totally on board with this even they're 'rare pairs'!
