Hux wasn't even supposed to be here today.

(Where: Hux stars as duty-bound Dante, Kylo does what he wants at the video store next door, Phasma joins 'em because it's always better in threes.)

You can actually make it work within the Star Wars universe.

Phasma has her own Chasing Amy-esque miniplot.

Hux: I'm stuck in this freezing base, working for less than Emperor wages. Working on my day off, the goddamn blast doors are closed, I deal with every backward ass fuck on the planet. I smell like boot polish. Phasma is catatonic after her favorite trooper defected to the Resistance. And my Supreme Leader has sucked 36 dicks.
