Basically Ben hears all the stories about his Dad being a smuggler and getting into all kinds of trouble and decides to give up being a Jedi and become a Smuggler like his dad and goes on Smuggling adventures and gets into trouble like his dad.

Hahaaaa, Ben and Lumpy, scoundrels and spies, smuggling through the galaxy, rescuing generals' sons, being SUPER AWKWARD but also weirdly cool.

I love the idea of Lumpy being there so much, too, wtf, self.

I had to look this up; Chewbacca really named his son Lumpawaroo, aka LUMPY. What the heck, Star Wars?

In its defense, he was made up for the Star Wars Holiday Special, which is notoriously awful, but then he was worked into comics, children's stories, novels... Of course, no longer canon, but honestly, who thought this was a good idea? Chewie also had a father named Attichitchuk... nicknamed Itchy.

Oh hey, I was double-checking Lumpy's entry on wookiepedia, and apparently his nickname changes to Waroo as an adult, because apparently he realized that Lumpy is a terrible nickname. Hah! I vote that Ben still calls him Lumpy in private, just to annoy him. They are like brothers.

So, Hux gets kidnapped by the enemy - in this case, the rebels - and some random person in a disreputable bar (Phasma, maybe?) convinces him to help out? And then shit basically hits the fan, because Ben, I am your father?
And all Leia can do is facepalm, because jfc, Skywalker men are always doin this shit.
