I'm hedging my bets and I'm throwing in two potential names for the pool: Lando or Wedge Antilles.

Both have ties to the Rebellion/Resistance; Lando pretty much is the Varric of Star Wars (charming, smooth-talking "businessman" who's also an underestimated badass) and I would not be surprised that he would write terrible romance novels about his friends and his friends' protegees because it would be HILARIOUS (also, good way to make some money on the side); and Wedge, as especially seen in the X-Wing Series books from the old EU, can totally keep a straight face while trolling the hell out of his friends (see: Wes Janson and the Lieutenant Ketch incident, and certain events during Starfights of Adumar). Would also not be surprised to find out if Wes and/or Hobbie were beta reading for Wedge and possibly making the books even more ridiculously over-the-top, because they would.

...I am thinking a little too much about who Varric Tethras is in this fill, apparently.

Anyway, FIFTY ON LANDO AND ANOTHER FIFTY ON WEDGE.
