Rey's not allowed to date until Kylo does. The only person crazy enough to be willing to take out Kylo is that weirdo Hux. So Rey bribes him.

I imagine that Han would actually encourage Ben ("IT'S KYLO, DAD, FUCK!") to get out there and mingle so of course Kylo would rather set himself on FIRE than date -- or do anything Han might approve of, really. Worrywart Uncle Luke sees this and thinks "yes! Your hermit training starts now, Rey."
