Any chance this could be Kylux? The idea of Hux getting it because his father sold him to the Academy as well (didn't even try to save him) and being the first person who really understand Kylo is - compelling.

It doesn't seem like an instinctive conclusion but to me a lot of things about Poe make sense if he is autistic (or otherwise neurodivergent):

-- his best friend is a droid
-- he expresses emotions without restraint where most NT people would probably dial it back
-- he makes a note of how well-made the TIE fighter is even while being shot at
-- he doesn't seem disturbed by Kylo Ren's mask like other NT people might be (since facial features do not mean a lot to him anyway)

(I'm sure there are other connections I'm forgetting . . . )

I am open to gen, Finn/Poe(/Rey), Poe+Rey, Poe+Leia, or anyone else in the Resistance. I would prefer to read others being accepting and accommodating of Poe rather than thinking he is "weird" and having to be enlightened on neurodiversity. Rey is also easily read as autistic and I would love to see them bond over it, or maybe NT Finn not even realizing Poe is considered neurodivergent, he is just Poe.

AU with Finn as Hansel and Rey as Gretel, Han as the "father," and Kylo as the "witch." (Finn and Rey aren't related, they were just living with Han or something.)

After Han is killed by Kylo in the woods outside their home, Finn and Rey go off in search of him. Kylo captures them both and Rey has to use her untapped Jedi powers to save Finn and defeat Kylo.

Pre-TFA: Those who have met General Hux in person knew he was gay, maybe not right off the bat but he made no secret of it. And those who didn't at least heard about it. Everyone except Kylo Ren.
So when the General starts to flirt with him, Kylo is utterly confused at first until he chances upon a conversation between crew members about the General's obvious campaign to win the knight's heart ... or his body.

I am so ready for this, please, god.

OP forgot to add that Poe "can fly anything," suggesting a natural aptitude for systems and an extremely quick learning curve, something you see a lot of in autistic/neurodivergent individuals.

I hadn't considered Poe being autistic/neurodivergent...but now I want this fic.

I don't know if I'd be able to write it because it's really hard for me to put into words what autistic is like (for me at least), but I do hope this gets filled.

Snoke wants Kylo to commit to the Dark Side. Rey, Leia, and the entire Resistance want to drag Ben back to the Light.

It all comes to a head during a decisive battle when Kylo Ben finally snaps and starts screaming at everyone. He never wanted to be a Jedi! He is sick and tired hurting people, he's disgusted with being an object of pity for the Resistance, he hates the Dark Side, he hates the Light Side, to hell with the Force!

Kylo Ben forswears the First Order in front of everyone, declares himself neutral, steals a ship, and goes off to do the one thing he's always wanted to do.

He's going to make the Kessel Run. In ten parsecs.

Bonus: Han is laughing in his Force-afterlife and cheering Ben on.
Bonus +: People keep trying to drag Kylo back to the Resistance or the First Order. Kylo Ben isn't having any of it.
Bonus ++: Kylo Ben ends up as King of the Smugglers.

Finn was taken by the first order as a very very young baby and wasn't weaned yet. In adulthood he doesn't understand why suckling at his lover's nipples fills him with a sense of safety and contentment he has never felt before.

I'm trying not to envision the potential of that tongue... And thirding.

I have always headcanonned that the Kessel Run being measured in parsecs is right and the challenge is not the speed but finding the shortest route, so I'd love to see this.

Okay, so there's this kind of old yaoi manga called Chintsubu, where these guys were in a car crash and somehow, from the force of the crash, instead of dying, their souls got stuck in each other's penises. So after the crash they have to deal with suddenly having sentient dicks that talk and have personalities, sometimes a little different from what their normal personality is like.

Maybe when the Starkiller Base was collapsing Kylo and Hux got brained with a beam or something and that caused the switch- I don't really care how it happened. I just think the premise would be great.
