“That was a hell of a thing to watch,” Finn says some time later, when they're clean and dry and lying in Poe's bunk together. Finn's flat on his back in deference to the muscles that cramped up from all the leaning and floor-sitting, and Poe's wrapped around him in a tangle of slack limbs and blanket that'll be uncomfortable in ten minutes but is perfect right now. With a groan of effort, Poe raises his head to look at him.

“In a good way?” he asks, and then frowns, apparently at himself. “Sorry, it's just – people can get really weird about it sometimes, even if they're also into it.”

“That was amazing,” Finn tells him, utterly sincere. “Totally kriffing amazing, you're amazing, I couldn't even believe it. You have to tell me all about it, sometime when you're, you know, able to say words.”

“It's not all fun and games,” Poe says, laying his head back down with a sigh. “I'm gonna be shitting spermatophores for a day and a half.”

“Poor you,” Finn manages, straight-faced and level-voiced, and he even gets a condescendingly soothing pat on the shoulder before his composure breaks and Poe's does too, and they laugh until Pava next door throws a shoe at the wall, and stars, could this night be any more perfect? Finn's pretty sure, as he drifts off, that it couldn't.

I just beta-ed. My report: It's brilliant. Don't change a thing. Unless by change a thing you mean add a sequel, add one of Finn getting the same treatment, add one of X'arrn doing it to both of them together (!!!!!!! please !!!!!!!), or just expand this piece with more visuals of luscious Poe floating in the tub with tentacles inside. Or more descriptions of the sex-ing itself.
