He's basically the Hux to Vader's Kylo Ren.

Actually, I wonder if Kylo positioned himself near Hix specifically after going "THIS IS WHAT GRADPA WOULD DO"? Granted the records of how Vader thought the Empire was kinda lame except for the Sith component probably didn't survive in whatever materials Kylo got from the First Order, so he may not have known that Vader's relationship with Tarkin was less "loyal comrades" and more "necessary evil." (Hey, just like Kylo and Hux!)

so, does Kylo occasionally slip and call Hux 'Tarkin' while he's fucking him?

I mean, I would adore this, yes. I've seen a lot of stuff with Hux revering Tarkin, but nothing with Kylo taking an interest.
