I really like this prompt! But did you mean gen? It's usually used to describe a story that doesn't have any sex or romance in it.

It's not obvious to someone here who is saying that gen just means no romance.

The person you just replied to and the one who explained it is obvious that nonny meant no romance are the same. I know Gen means no sex either, but I also can see when someone makes an honest mistake and don't feel the need to get sanctimonious about it, especially when the prompt explains throughout that they do want sex and that a relationship between Kylo and Hux is optional.

I offered a correction about a term, you jumped in to defend the OP's right to use a term in complete error and made this into an argument. Shall we just let all words mean whatever people think they mean from now on, even when it's the opposite of what it actually means, as long as we can figure out what they intended it to mean?

No worries a lot of people are confused by fandom terms, happy to provide clarification of the term for you.

I don't know why people got so serious about the mistake. It's one of the funniest misunderstandings I've seen in ages. You have literally made my day with this.

Because there is a subsection of Gen fans that are tired of finding fics that are obviously not Gen labelled Gen. You should have seen the SPN fandom's wank wars about this several years ago. The Gen camp eventually disintegrated when they realized all the gen readers had different definitions of what Gen was.
