Some time into his and Kylo's relatively new relationship, Hux gets a tattoo to show for it, something that has 'Ren' or 'R' incorporated in the design. He does it so he can show Kylo how much he means to him because otherwise, they're both bad at expressing their feelings. It's also his only tattoo.

At that time, Kylo's in a bad place mentally after having run away from home; Hux doesn't know his family or even his real name.

During some event or other, Hux meets Kyli's estranged parents and has a long talk with them. After that, he adds a curve to the 'R' in his tattoo to make it a 'B' instead.

I love this. I got a good mental image of them at their current canon ages, of Kylo having zero contact with his family for over a decade, of Hux's sad face as he listens to the story... Argh, I can't write this right now. This round has too many prompts that I want to fill. T__T
