I like this very much. It reminds me of characters in other fandoms I love. I enjoy those pairings, but I think we need more gen Ben fics. :) UST could work here, too.
How much time do you think has passed between his heroic stand and his dark return? Weeks, months, or years?
And any ideas on Ben-now-Kylo's relationship with Hux? (Poe could easily be a BFF, but idk how Hux would react to him. It prob depends on how Ben becomes Kylo.)

Well, it would all depend on what happened to him. If it's "plain" brainwashing/mind control, than it really could be a matter of weeks/months, whereas I believe that actually seducing him to the Dark Side would take longer once he is grown.

Same for his relationship with Hux. I am all for GEN fics as well, but I am also a Kylux shipper so anything goes.^^ Hux could view Ren as nothing more than a powerful asset, and keep things professional between the two. If Ben just changed sides, then maybe some UST between the two.

If Ben is brainwashed, maybe he gets a kick out of taking the son of the Resistance leader to his bed. A personal victory in private. In front of the Resistance, he would be taunting whoever is held prisoner by saying suggestive things and touching Ben just enough to imply a sexual relationship between the two, and smirking in triumph when the Resistance member predictably flies into a rage. (And BFF!Poe would totally go ballistic, and he is going to kill that redheaded bastard when he gets the chance, Oh, Ben, he is so, so sorry!)
