As someone who is allergic to beets this is honestly horrifying to me. Granted I end up unable to breathe due to beets so I wouldn't be able to eat enough for this to happen but just the thought is really repulsive. I would legit take anal bleeding (which is not always a big deal depending on context) over the vegetable that wants to murder me for no good reason. Fuck beets.
