I'm not sure how groping and licking someone without their consent is "not rape"?

The licking/groping could be seen as sexual harassment or abuse, but true that doesn't make it any better

nope, still rape

It's certainly rape in the real world, but in terms of someone describing what they want to see in a fictional story the OP clearly felt that there was a difference.

um, that doesn't make me feel better about what the OP said and what they consider "rape" and "not rape"? like, sorry, that's fucked up

Maybe the OP could reword this so the judgement of what is and isn't to be considered rape is left out of it? I wan't going to say anything, but the prompt made me really uncomfortable with that.

that... is not a good thing. OP, I'm guessing from your prompt you want there to be no penetration - it's not hard to say "I'd like him to be raped/molested but no penetration please". It's quite damaging to perpetuate the idea that being groped or licked without your consent isn't rape.

Can we not police this stuff? We are all supposed to be adults here and know our right from wrong and everything.

"This Stuff" is kind of important.

It's little stories about characters from a fantasy movie having improbable sex. Our definition of "important" seems to differ.

(frozen comment) Re: Any/Finn, nasty Jabba-esque situation

(Anonymous) 2016-02-11 08:35 am (UTC)(link)
It's defining rape as a specific act and that anything less than that specific act is not rape. That's important. That's an erroneous definition that can hurt people if they take it to heart and later on if they are raped they talk themselves out of believing its rape because certain acts did not take place.

Maybe OP is from any one of the numerous countries that define rape only as penetration without consent?

(frozen comment) Re: Any/Finn, nasty Jabba-esque situation

(Anonymous) 2016-02-11 08:38 am (UTC)(link)
That does not make it or the legal systems of that country correct. There are countries that consider being gay a capital offence. It's the law in those countries to, that does not make it right, and that definitely does not make it something that should be let go unchallenged.

Maybe the OP happens to disagree with you on this particular thing.

Then they need to seek help, because they believe something that can hurt them badly.

In my jurisdiction rape only applies to vaginal penetration without or with vitiated consent. There's a seperate offence of (still referred to as rape but under a different section) unconsensual anal penetration or penetration of the mouth by the penis or any other object. Anything that falls below that is a sexual assault, not rape. So, in legal terms, OP is right. But I can only speak for my own and my neighbouring jurisdiction.
